Bought this to coat an aging bitumen felt roof on an extension. For the first tin I used a brush whilst it went on easily I was to close to the strong fumes (you are warned on the tin). For the next tins I used a roller on a long plole. It spreads easily and gives good coverage, I gave it 2 coats. The roller pole keeps you well away from the fumes.I am delighted with the finish the roof looks great and I just hope to get the long life expectancy from it.

Over the years I have used a variety of products on my flat roof. This is the best and is worth paying that bit more. Unlike others, this one has a more impenetrable barrier, it has a thicker texture but is just as easy to apply as thinner ones. The adhesion quality to the old surface is excellent. The area covered by each tin is very good indeed. It looks good on completion. I have had severe problems with othe products bought to seal my flat roof and wasted so much money in the process. Durashield has addressed them all.

I’ve had a slow leak in the plastic skimmer bowl of my inground swimming pool for years. I’d tried everything to fix it (putty etc) yet I was still losing about an inch of water every week. Digging up the pool deck and replacing the skimmer bowl was going to cost thousands so I took a punt and bought a tin of this stuff, drained the pool down so that the skimmer bowl was dry and then applied a thick coat of this stuff to the entire inside walls of the skimmer bowl. 24 hours later I refilled the pool and lo and behold, the leak has gone. It’s been a week now and the paint is still firmly adhered to the walls of the skimmer bowl and the pool hasn’t lost any water. So, so far, this waterproof paint has saved me thousands of pounds andsaved me a lot hassle too. I don’t know if it will hold fast forever but I will apply a fresh coat once a year if required. Very pleased with it.

Used to cover an old fibreglass roof…applied easily dried faster than advised and almost immediately weatherproof with the rain the following morning simply beading off…very happy with the product and service given… the surface turning quite rubbery in fact…one of my tins had leaked on arrival but was quickly replaced by Polar …ready access to them via the Amazon link too was painless…

Easy to apply to prepared surface, with excellent coverage. Pity not available in smaller quantities as only used a quarter of the tin.
