Faulty craftmanship, never buy this product
I bought this pool float after having owned similar items by different brands for many years. They usually last several years, and that was with dogs jumping on them. I bought this one for my wife’s birthday and it was delivered May 2, 2021. We no longer have dogs and my wife was the only person to use this, couple times a week. After 4 months a crack developed on the bottom, that crack has now split clean through to the top and it is splitting further. More cracks followed so it wasn’t a single defect. It will split the raft in half within the next couple of uses. Amazon said it was beyond the 30 day return so we needed to check with the manufacturer. The manufacturer said that because it was purchased through Amazon, through a non authorized carrier of their products, they wouldn’t replace it. Lesson learned on my end, while Amazon usually stands behind such things, make sure that your purchase is from the manufacturer or you’ll be out of luck. Regardless, this product should have never failed under such circumstances, not for years. I won’t ever purchase a Swimways product again, it is obviously a sub standard product. Update; As of this past week, 9-22-2021, it was put out to the trash. Amazon take note, this product sheds poor light on vendors who sell it as well, that means you! With the reviews that you have about this very product, it shouldn’t be on your digital shelves. They have it set up quite nicely, you get the item out of the box and it looks fine. By the time it begins to fall apart, in mere months, Amazon says it is beyond their 30 day window, contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer says it isn’t their problem because Amazon sold it to you through a seller that is not one of their authorized sellers. If Amazon, the biggest retailer in the world, is selling things that everyone has an excuse for when it falls apart in a fraction of what should have been it’s normal lifespan, that is a bad image for Amazon. I bought this item because I grew tired of buying the Walmart blow up inflatables for $5, but they only last 6 months. This one didn’t last that long and I could have bought 20 of those blow ups for what I paid for this.

NOT as advertised !
This product is advertised as 2" thick, can support individuals up to 250 pounds and has an oversized pillow. It is NOT a uniform 2 inches, thus the buoyancy claim is out in left base. I weigh 165 and I was submerged in the water (not on top of it -- as the word "float" would suggest). When lying on my back or on my stomach the "oversized pillow" was half under water.I don't believe this is a product that anybody would want to buy again.

Very Disappointing
I am very disappointed in these rafts. I had similar rafts about twenty years ago, but the pillows were solid. As you can see in my second photo, the pillow is hollow on these. So when you place your head on the pillow, it sinks into the water. Can’t believe I wasted $200 on these two rafts. Don’t waste your money.

Average comfort - I like the rolled headrest design better
This is a nice pool float but It's not the best that I've used. The headrest is too low and feels almost non-existent once you use it in the water. The headrest is hollow rather than being made with a thicker layer of foam therefore don't expect your head to stay elevated - you feel like you are completely flat on your back with this float. The most comfortable design I've used with this type of a pool float is where the head rest is rolled over, similar to the Texas Recreation Sunray Pool Float or the TRC Recreation Sunsation Pool Float. Noteworthy, however, is that both of these floats are less thick than this one.Thicker is better when it comes to foam pool float durability so I like that this float is 2" thick but having said that, these floats NEVER last long. Even when we prohibit the kids from using them, we consider ourselves very lucky to get 2 full years out of a float before they start deteriorating. You will want to store this flat. It's tempting to keep the packaging and roll this up for storage but don't do this - you'll reduce the already short longevity of your float as it will crack even faster. This float is also not truly rectangular as it has a curvy bend on both sides. I think this design is more for aesthetic appeal (our bodies are certainly not shaped like this). I prefer floats that are truly rectangular but this curvy appearance doesn't change the way the float works. My biggest issue with this float however is that on the reverse side, this float had 16 imperfections that appeared to be burn marks (with cracked edges) or irregular puffy dimples on the reverse side. I think the burn marks are going to cause premature cracking but only time will validate this impression. I included a picture. Its really not that uncommon to have some imperfections on the bottom of foam pool floats however I typically don't see that many.Overall, this is a nice float - it's priced similarly to other floats that I've looked at and is the typical size (75" x 29" x 2" - 250 lb weight capacity). Truthfully, it's very hard to find a reasonably priced pool float that is comfy and lasts (most are about $100 - it they are thicker than 2", the price generally is closer to $130-$150). When you find one you like - I suggest buying 2 as the designs for these products change every year and they often get thinner yet the price typically increases. The last great foam pool float I found was at Sam's Club several years ago and naturally I haven't found one that is equally as comfortable since (sigh.....it truly pays sometime to buy 2 when you find a great buy).

Great price at Amazon
At the time I bought this, the price was about 40% less than the nearest pool/leisure provider. Same exact product as in the local stores. Product is great. Very durable. Held up a 325 pound person at 6’2. Of course there as a slight dip in the middle as to be more than expected.

good bang for the buck
this is comfortable and stable and just right if you are 6'1" and 220 ish AND want to be mostly submerges. the other comment about the pillow are not wrong, but it's not as big a deal as they make it sound. also you can fold a pool noodle in half and tuck it in there and the problem goes away if you care.i live on a sailboat in a river and this gives me a pleasant platform to decompress after a long day at work.storage is a bit of a drag on the sailboat, but if you live in a hous with a pool i imagine you will have a shed for that sort of thing. it is better to store flat than rolled up like i do.

does not hold weight well.
Very flimsy, it sinks too much when you lie on it and that is even at around 115 pounds and it is supposed to be able to carry 250 lbs. Not worth the money.
