It's a fantastic spincast reel. But it's much larger than most spincast reels, and could be hard to find suitable rods. I've ended up shelving it for now and gone for much smaller 33's from the same company. These arrive tomorrow. I'll see whether the one reviewed here is suitable for my old beach rods. Not quite the correct style of rod, but this reel is heavy duty and well made and could be at its best for me as a surf reel.
