4.0-Gallon Reverse Osmosis Water Storage Tank RO Tank by Charman

I wanted to give an update on this awesome RO storage tank. I initially gave my review telling how this tank had kept its pressure for many weeks. I was very impressed because my previous tank had to be re-pressurized every few weeks since the day I bought it. The seller's excuse was that it had a rubber tube inside & like any car tire, needed to be aired up over time. Well, for one thing, my car tires rarely need air...maybe a few pounds after several months...not a few weeks like my old tank did.Anyway, I am happy to report that it has been well over a year since I installed this NEW tank & to this day I have NOT needed to re-pressurize it. I know that it has lost a little pressure in all this time, but let me tell you...to this day, I still fill 2-3 gallons out at a time, which is more than enough for my household. Maybe, just maybe sometime later this year I will add some air to it...but no hurries...this tank is awesome!Update: 06-18-19Wanted to update this AWESOME tank. I finally repressurised this tank last month....after more than 3 YEARS...amazing!

Double boxed -nicely packed and remember that the 4.0 Gallon holds 3.2 gallons of water part of the space is occupied by Air and the bladder. There is no bad taste - I only flushed it once. This unit is precharged and easy to setup with standard fitting for a 3/8-Inch by 1/4-Inch NPFT Female Elbow Shut Off Valve

This tank is less than a year old and does not hold pressure. The Jacob valve is tight, even replaced the center. would say the bladder is too light and starts leaking after a short time based on air coming from the faucet and needing constantly reloaded.

Don't waste your money !! This is the second one ( and the last one) I bought. When the first one didn't last more that 7 months, I thought I would try one more time. Wrong move !! This one lasted 10 months and in that 10 months I have had to redo the air pressure 4 times. This last time it would not work at all.

This turned out to be the perfect replacement for the original storage tank that came with my R/O system. Fits under the kitchen sink without taking up too much room and offers excellent water pressure.
