So Convenient!
This was a good buy. If I had known earlier that there was such a thing, I would have bought one a long time ago. So convenient. I am really happy with it.I line it with a plastic grocery bag when I'm preparing food. I like the retention ring that clamps the bag in place, keeping it from sliding down. The lid fits snug.I usually throw all my potentially smelly things in there, like the empty bacon package. I sweep vegetable scraps, etc. right off the counter. Egg shells, etc. go in there too - all without having to drag the big trash container over. The bag is then tied & changed out. I don't leave it in there long enough for the fruit flies to find it.Also, some have said they thought they were getting two containers because the picture shows two. You are getting ONE. They are showing that there are two ways to use it: hang it from a kitchen drawer, or use the sticky-back tape to mount it to the wall.I prefer to hang it over the drawer, so can't comment on the sticky tape method. Some are also saying it's cheap, thin plastic & breaks easily. Yes, it's plastic, people. But It's not thin plastic. I think it's well made. You can't overload it & expect the plastic handle to bear the full weight.I think this product is being mis-reviewed by some. That said, I love mine!

10 out of 10!
I can’t say enough about this bin. We started a compost pile and add all our veg scraps, coffee grinds, etc. to it, thanks in large part to this Lalastar kitchen compost bin. There is no odor at all from this, we are amazed. After a year we have an enormous compost pile to fertilize our outdoor landscape and our veg garden. This also helped us to use paper bags or compostable bags in our trash, no more wet rotting food, cheaper and earth friendly. The impact this has made is just astounding.

Happy camper
We use this in our small camper as the garbage bin. Works great, doesn’t slid around on the door edge and keeps any smells inside.

Attractive, Make Food Prep/Composting Easy
I really like these. We have one for compost and a second to hold food scraps for our chickens. It's nice to have them off the counter. I keep one by my cutting board and it's easy to just sweep scraps from food prep right into the bucket. The other is near our sink to make scraping plates easy before washing them. I run them through the dishwasher without issue. The handle could stand to be a big heftier but haven't cause a problem to date.

Great product!
Our building just instituted a composting program. This container is perfect to collect scraps. The lid closes tightly so no smells. I’d suggest sprinkling cinnamon and cayenne pepper in the bottom of any garbage can to prevent small flying insects. I empty and wash daily. The spice recipe is preventative, but works especially in the tropics.

Good small trash can
Cute little trash can. As a single person I don’t produce much trash so this is perfect in my kitchen. Be aware that it is small but hangs perfectly on a kitchen cabinet

Almost Perfect for Us
The hanging device is thick enough for my son's bunkbed that I did not need to use the sticker attachment. He has allergies so this is nice. I think it's mostly used in kitchens, but it suits our needs well. Sturdy material. We didn't have to use the sticky option to attach it to his bunk. The bracket was fine.
