Quarky and artsy
Love the Holga. It's a quarky camera that has it's own personality. It's a lightweight black and white film camera that will push your boundaries of fun and frustration. I bought this camera for a class that I signed up for a local art school. The picture quality with this camera can be all over the place. As there is very little ability to focus it makes for some fun results. Very artsy but keep your expectations low. Good value for the money. If you wants some fun in the darkroom as well. this is great experimental fun.

Not as advertised
The camera came with instructions for batteries. There is no slot for batteries to go in this camera. It looks and feels like a toy camera. A complete waste of money

Now I see what all the fuss is about
Having been out of print film for quite some time, I heard about the Hogla and decided to give it a shot (no pun intended) since I had never used a camera so basic before. Despite its size, the camera is very light weight. The main issue with using it was getting the film spools in, but after that, it's very straight forward and basic. There is a learning curve in regard to shooting and winding, but nothing one can't adapt to., not to mention it's one of the themes of the camera. Processing my first pictures from it justifies the purchase, and I'm looking forward to getting more use out of it.

You get what you pay for
It’s a cheap camera, it’s not gonna take great pics. Taped it up really well and still had light leaks but I can’t say I was surprised

White is Problenatic.
For Holga lovers, this is the real deal' the same Holgas that you've played with in the past for artistic/interesting/less-than-perfect results. The image quality is surprisingly clear if you manage to focus it exactly right. Love the vignetting and weird edges. But... I would not recommend buying the white variant. Many of my pictures came with weird 'sunburst' lines (think Japanese ensign) and I believe it is due to the sun reflecting of the white textured lens ring and producing a rather annoying effect. I never had this issue with the dark plastic. Perhaps you can use some gaff tape to wrap the edges of the lens... or if you are in a more controlled environment, it might be fine (it does look cool, after all) but for outdoor holiday snaps, it was kind of a bummer. Go for the black one.
