My son is 15 and a varsity high school baseball player. I ordered this top of the line bat about 3 weeks ago, and he used a handful of times (real baseball practice just started). I couldn’t believe a $430 bat cracked so quickly. Hopefully, it was defective, but I’m nervous this will happen again during the season which would be a HUGE problem. For the record, he loves this bat, and has been drilling balls all over the place…but it does need to last. I only gave it one star because of longevity. Give Amazon credit, they are shipping a new bat and it will be here by 3/30 (season starts 4/4). Since it was less than 30 days old, Amazon covered the replacement. After 30 day I would have needed to go through Louisville Slugger directly. If it lasts the season (should last two for the premium price) I will give it the appropriate number of stars. But for now, it’s a one star bat. Amended, 2/2/23. The bat lasted the entire 2022 HS baseball season, but broke again in January (something on the inside). It was still covered under warranty, so I shipped it back…along with a note that this is the second 2021 model that broke…please send a 2023 model Meta. They did. Couldn’t be happier with Louisville Slugger. They stand behind their products and the bat is awesome. They have a customer for the near future (till my son is done playing HS baseball.

This is an absolute banger of a USSSA bat. When I say this thing hits absolute bombs, I mean it. Slow pitch 25-34 mph this thing still hits absolute piss missiles.The quality is great and it looks amazing with a neon green lizard skin wrap.

My son had the -10 now the -8. Going into Middle School I am buying him the -3. It has been a solid investment each time. Best bat on the market!

Good bat, son loves it

31 drop 8, purchased mid-season for my son who is playing 11u travel ball. Grip is comfortable. Barrel is large and has big sweet-spot. Swing weight is described as "balanced" however it definitely has more end-load than the 31 drop 11 Solo that he had before. We knew it would be a step up in swing weight, but would not make such a change mid-season. This pushed him to improve his load and timing. He loves it though, especially when he hit a home run on his first AB.

My son is a strong 9 year old and uses the 31 inch drop 8 bat. He loves it and seems to have a great sweet spot. The grip had to be replaced after a couple months of heavy use, but no big deal. Great bat.

Great bat for a 13 yr old moving into BBCOR drop 3 for the first time. It’s a really balanced bat with a very large sweet spot. Lots of pop off of the barrel and very forgiving, even off the hands but especially off the end. My son loves swing this bat.

Our bat broke after 2 months of use. Amazon declined to help with warranty after it was shared they would. So I called Louisville slugger and the number doesn't work. So I called Wilson who owns Louisville and they processed a possible warranty claim. The catch is you send the bat at YOUR cost which is almost 90 dollars with no guarantee of warranty approval. The cost was ground shipping regular, if you ship express it's starts at 259 and goes up to as high as 475.I thought I would share my experience to warn others of the policy.
