Click Clack Basics Storage Containers, 4.5 Quart Airtight Container, White Lid

These containers are great. We use them to store flour, sugar, and other baking items in the pantry, and also for our homemade laundry detergent. They seal well and are durable. My only complaint is that I can't find them with the blue lid anymore!

I loved the way the cover closed with a tight seal. My first container was a 4.5 quart. I dropped it on the floor and it shattered like fragile glass.I replaced it with another 4.5 and also 2.5 qt. The 4.5 broke. The 2.5 has the start of a crack and will have to be trashed by next use. These containers are expensive and do not hold up to reasonable use. Very fragile. Might be good for cotton balls.

My click clack was fine until I started finding tiny shreds of sharp plastic in the food. It took me 15 seconds to throw the container and contents in trash. Last thing I need is my baby choking to death due to a defective product.

These are great containers. They are a great size and work well for pantry storage. I loved them because I can use them to store grains/flour/sugar and other things and they organize well. I would give it a 5 but I've had 2 damaged ones out of several ordered from Amazon that I had to email them about. I'm not sure if that is due to the product or their packing. One had a broken piece out of the clear plastic and another had a broken clamp on the side of the lid. Otherwise they keep the product very fresh in them and work great.

I needed to add to my collection and I was pleased to find these on Amazon. The ones I have in my kitchen are DECADES old, and the seals are still airtight and doing the job. The canisters clean easily and look quite pleasant on my counter. As my baking has increased, I needed more containers for different flours, pastas, dried peas and various beans and rices. I have moved with them; they travel well, they stack well, take a fair amount of punishment, and keep the critters out. When you amortize the price over even a few years, not a bad deal at all.

These are not very durable, especially for the price. I purchased two nine months ago and now wish I would have read the other reviews questioning the longevity of these canisters.I bought these to hold my bread flours. They have been used once a week. Meaning that each has been opened and then closed just on "bread day." After less than forty times being opened, one of the plastic hinge pins broke off. It is a little bitty piece of plastic, about one 16th of an inch in length, but without it, the canister will not lock. It was not a total surprise since that particular hinge, plus both hinges on the second canister, have been acting a bit wonky for a few weeks. Based on the signs, I am guessing the second canister is just a short time away from becoming useless also. Look elsewhere if you do not want to be replacing your canisters every year.

I have been using this line of storage containers for my dry goods for 10 years. I have found them to been great quality air-tight containers which are easy to access. I love the clear sides so I can see what is in each one, and they keep my pantry organized and bug-free. The only negative I have is with the 4.4 quart round lid containers, which are difficult to refill with sugar or flour through the small opening.

We like these containers, as they are space efficient, and stack nicely. Just don't use any solvents to remove stickers. Plastic will cloud.

Bought this to replace one that I broke. Keeps my flour fresh and bug free. Like it much better as a canister than a round one.

Very nice large container....you can fit a variety of things in it...very useful and the top fits solidly keeping the air out and flavors in.
