Rotating Battery Operated Fiber Optic Novelty Lamp with Changing Colors, Modern Home Decor

Stumped on what to buy a special needs 1 yr old deaf and somewhat visually impaired for her birthday. This was one of the items I got that I though she might like looking at. We tested it out on arrival yesterday evening and I decide I needed one for ME! It is an inexpensive item, so don't expect it to last forever, and not a toy. It won't withstand a lot of handling. But for the price I think it is fine. So I am basing my rating on price and expectations.

The color changing part is fine. The "rotating" is lame. It's NOISY and vibrates loudly and that's what "rotates" it on a plastic disc. It's annoying and I don't use the rotating feature at all. Plus...I think it would fall off the table with the amount of vibration!!

Does NOT rotate. Just makes a noise and vibrates when placed on rotation!Bought it because we had one that ran on electricity, but this one is very cheap looking. If there was a better quality item with a higher price Inwould have gone for it.

This thing is awesome - especially for it's price. It spins around in the little rubber lined plastic base or can sit without vibrations. Pretty colors. It has withstood my 9 year old playing with it and carrying it around by its fiber optic strands - so pretty durable.

The novelty optic lamp is sooo pretty! Great to use as a night light! My 3 yr. old grand daughter looks at the colors change as she is falling asleep! I also bought one for my 10 yr. old grandson and he loved it! It is a little cheaply made so it is not a 'play toy'. But set on a table, it should last a while.

This product was not packaged well and was out of its container when it arrived. The colors are not as brilliant as they are in the picture and the bottom metal was scratched.
