Good, but not $40 Good
Honestly, it’s just not that good. The seams (where the two halves are joined) are sloppy and could easily be improved by Rinehart. It definitely can take some hits, but I found cheap stress balls in the shape of an apple at my local dollar store. The first one I shot took about a dozen arrows before I had to throw it away. For the price, it makes more sense to buy the dollar store foam apples. 40 $1.00 Apples X 12 shots per Apple = 480 shots. Way more than what the Rinehart can take.

Fun target minor issues with size/wires
I love the idea of it, and it does take field points fine. The wires at the bottom make me question the best placement as I don't want to harm my other targets-in the ground as pictured it can only take one shot before you have to pick it up. It's very lightweight so even shooting low poundage bows throws it around if the wires are not firmly placed in something. Then there is the issue of lost arrows for inexperienced archers-so I plan on putting it front of a bigger square target.(and maybe on top of straw?) The price is a bit high.

Fine product.
Worked just fine, guys at yearly bow shoot had a great time trying to hit it at 45 yards for a $ 1.00 a shot was fun. Keep up the good work. Just another fine Rinehart product.

I really enjoyed shooting this apple
I really enjoyed shooting this apple. I have shot it for about a year now and it is time to replace. I never shot a broad head arrow at the apple, and I never left it outside overnight, but I have shot some tight groups which the apple did not enjoy. When you have an arrow side-by-side arrow group, that causes far greater damage to the target than well spaced hits on the apple. I probably have hit this apple over 200 times. I was able to find this once without the near $20 shipping charge, and at that price of about $26 this is a great value. At $46, it might be a bit pricy. Obviously, I wish it would have not decomposed, but it was well worth the money. If I ever find it again at $26, I will probably buy 2.
