Great high intensity light for veggie seed starts
I’m fairly new to starting my vegetable plants from seed. My first try with only a window was a bust resulting in scrawny, leggy plants that I couldn’t use. Last year I purchased a clip on set of two very bright glow lights and though they worked pretty well, I really wasn’t illuminating my starts evenly. Still, I learned that a good grow light is a must. This year I found these lights. I’d decided to set up on a book case in an extra bedroom, the space being roughly 35”x15”. Using only one of the two in the set, I’ve been blown away by the results. I had the lights about 14” above my seed trays and the plants were never leggy or even leaning toward the center like I’d seen before. I put it on a timer to have them on for 15 hours every day. I started my seeds the exact same date as last year, when those lights had a timer switch to run 12 hours max. Seeing how fast my plants grew this year, I probably could’ve put off starting for another 2 weeks! As my tomatoes got taller, it looked like they might be getting too much light so I cut back to 12 hours and raised the mounting shelf a few pegs and they’re doing great. The lights come with hardware to mount on chains or with clips that we used to screw onto a shelf board. The lights are very bright...not hot...but the fins help direct the light downward and the spread over the entire shelf is plenty just using the one unit. I’ll probably set up another shelf for more plants elsewhere with the extra light.I am more than thrilled with this purchase. Now that I can do so easily, I can start my spring and summer garden ahead of time, enjoying trying seeds for different hard to find varieties. This has been a total game changer.

Careful - it radiates heat
Since this is metal it gets really warm unlike my plastic LED lights. Know this so you won't put it anywhere that you will bump into it , say while watering. That works well for me since I was able to remove the heating mats that I use for seed starting. My shelves are 10" wide. With the "fins" installed the light was directed downward and only lit about half that width therefore I removed them so I could use one light per shelf. One light now covers the entire 10" shelf therefore I could use one light per shelf. Working beautifully.

Easy to Set Up; Bright
After searching my local Home Depot, Walmart, and, hardware stores for grow lights, I found none I liked. So I opted to buy this one based on the advice of a gardening YouTuber. I’m glad I did. It was very easy to set up and it is very bright. My seedlings are thriving. The Amazon description made no mention of kelvin or lumens so I was a little skeptical and prepared to send it back, but so far my plants are germinating and I see no leggyness. However, I am prepared to change my rating and edit my description if it fails to serve my plants that will germinate later as well as the ones that I will be planting later this month.

They are in a 3X4 in the small 1x3 chambers. GOOD for this configuration and price
It's a bar light with a built in heater. As the headline says, and as others, it has a modern full led spectrum, but generates more heat than a better light might. Heat is useful so you may find economy in this feature. I did. Clones and seedlings like it warm. But these lights are not the best, and I implore you to purchase something better!

Ready for winter microgreens!
This is a good set of full spectrum lights. I've been wanting to grow a few herbs and greens indoors as it gets colder. I've got this hooked up to a timer and it works great on my wire rack.Came packaged well for shipping and set up was very easy for both of them.Good quality: there isn't much light leakage on the sides so this can be used in a living space without being intrusive.

Good lights, not enough cable
So far, only 2 weeks using them but, the plants seem to like them. However, here's my big complaint: they only send one slave cable to connect just the two lights. This is a big problem when (as they advertised that you can link up to 4) I wanted to connect a total of two sets = 4 lights.

The best!
I purchased these grow lights based off of all the positive reviews and they did not disappoint! My plants have thrived all summer since installing these lights. Perfect lighting for my variegated plants and makes zero difference in my electric bill. I love how they connect so as my collection grows, I can just add lights as I go. The side shields are also very helpful!

These are a waste of time, short life span!
40 watts each and very warm for a small tent.Even with an inline exhaust fan attached to my tent, I still have to use interior fans to help exhaust the heat and move air around the fixtures to help cool them, and they're only 40 watts each!My highly rated light meter says these are nearly as low output as some of my 24 watt LED light fixtures I'm running, especially outside about a 10-degree angle. One of the lights delivered is hotter than the other three I purchased, this worries me, yet it nearly meets the advertised light intensity.I consider these LED fixtures to be overpriced and not efficient in light production, considering other offerings on the market.I just measured again, and these fixtures are not producing 184 umol... at 8 inches, as well what looks to be 10 degree LEDs emitters do not offer much light outside a 10 degree projection of light directly in front of the fixtures. This false advertising has cost me quite a bit in my garden tent design, and is making my plants suffer.Another update, these fixtures are increasing in temperature to the point they are going to bolt or kill my lettuce. They're now at 120 degrees F where they were 90 to 100 just last week.
