2014 Trump Winery Meritage 750 mL Red Wine

I bought this for my folks who are Trump supporters. Thought they would get a kick out of it. I love a good Meritage. My very favorite red blend so I ordered one for myself too. We were all happy!. Smooth yet significant. Could be priced higher and still worth it. I will buy more.

I bought this as a joke before tRump was given the vote by the electoral college. Sad.

The wine was superb and delicious. The bottle appearance was very nice and classy. The shipping package was well thought out and definitely protected the bottle.

This is fine overall, but even after running it through an aerator it had too much tannins for my taste. I also felt that there is nothing particularly special about this wine to justify the high price. So taking off a star for that.

Superb packaging but wine is hardly anything to get excited about.

Lackluster, thin on the palate, very little follow-through, overpriced.

Great wine for the money. We are regular wine drinkers in this price range and thoroughly enjoyed this bottle. Will be ordering more and am interested in tasting his other reds.

Really bitter. Plus the cork fell apart when opening.
