Urban Infant Toddler Backpack – Ideal for Preschool and Daycare – Boys and Girls

This backpack and lunch box set is adorable and perfect for school! It’s lightweight, durable, and very comfortable for my daughter. She loves the design, and the lunch box keeps her food fresh. Great quality and totally worth it!

I love it. We already had the blanket and got so many compliments from from her preschool so when she moved up to her 18 month room, we celebrated with her own 'big girl bag'. She loves carrying it around, on her back or just by the strap- it's short enough that it doesn't usually drag. And even if it does--the plastic-y material can just be wiped down, no worries. I believe it will easily last us until she outgrows it. Love the tube for her 'artwork' and the zipper pocket on the inside (which also has a place to write who it belongs to). It's also a lot roomier than I expected! I keep a change of clothes, a rain jacket, a snack cup and sippy cup in it and it's just over half full. Plus the zipper is toddler friendly and she can easily open and close it herself. Great buy. You won't regret it.

I love this backpack! My daughter is only 4 months old now, but will be going to daycare soon. I wanted Something that would last her toddlerhood and be durable and able to pack for years to come. I was expecting a cloth fabric but it’s a thick vinyl fabric that I absolutely Love. I’ll be able to wipe it off and spray with disinfectant! It’s so cute, I tested It out as a diaper bag today and it was super convenient. It fit all my personal stuff including a bottle and water bottle for me and baby. I cant Wait to get all of the matching pieces lol I would Recommend to everyone!! It works perfect as a day bag too. It fits soooo many things. Diapers wipes changer 3 sets of clothes bottle and more. It even fits my wallet and my water lol

While the material is super easy to clean, and I love that it is lightweight enough for my toddler to carry easily, the material feels a little too lightweight somehow- it sounds/feels like a rain jacket. I think I was picturing a material something more like my petunia picklebottom diaper bag lol. But it is still a great backpack and we are very happy with it! The little tube compartment, though it is designed to carry art work from preschool, can also fit a regular baby bottle. But it won’t fit a sippy cup or any other type of water bottle- and I looked! On a design note, I think the zipper/clasp hardware would have been nicer looking in a different color- the thick black zipper just doesn’t blend with the soft pink hues of the backpack. But I’m sure manufacturing was cheaper sticking with the same zipper for all the styles so I get it. All in all, a great little mini backpack with lots of space, enough structure to keep everything in place, and super cute and cleanable!

I had the lunchbox previously and loved it so of course had to have the matching backpack! Only issue is that it’s not exactly what I thought I was getting. Not sure if it’s because it’s personalized, but it doesn’t have the same soft waterproof material which I really was hoping for. The embroidery is beautiful! But it also doesn’t have the matching piping ( or trim? Not sure what it’s considered) and it doesn’t say packie in the bottom corner. I know I’m a bit neurotic but I really love when things match perfectly and I thought it was going to but it didn’t. Otherwise, it’s great! Matching pattern and seems sturdy, just arrived today. Pictures show the two items together and close ups show different materials. Backpack is woven material.

I bought two of these backpacks for my older two kids who went to MDO in 2018. I also bought the matching nap mats and lunch boxes. It was an investment...but when you use it from age 0/1-5/6 and not have to buy new items of these every year or so - 100% worth the money up front. Since then, I had two more children and bought two more backpacks, nap mats and lunch boxes. The lunch boxes clip to the front of the backpack, leaving you the entire backpack for your child’s other necessities. There is a cup holder on one side (which can fit a kid’s camel back water bottle). The other side has a an art/paper holder. Instead of shoving artwork/papers in the backpack, you can roll these items and stick them in the tube connected to the backpack. God knows that’s good with how rough toddlers can be on their backpack and other items. The material on the outside of the backpack is awesome! If anything spills, it rolls right off.

8/1/17 UPDATE: The company contacted me about the mix up with my order. They were able to send me the right item, and I'm so glad for it. As I said in my original review, these backpacks are indeed great quality. Now I'm happy that both my little ones will have the same features for their backpacks. I plan on purchasing the matching lunch bags too. Great backpacks and great customer service! 7/26/17 I really wanted to like this, as I love the color/pattern and size. (The preschool my children go to do not require backpacks to be big enough to fit a full size folder.) Also, the quality is worth the price. However...I must return. Sadly, it's missing a feature I really do need. Exterior drink holder. Well one of them as you can see in the photos. Which is odd since it's the same packpack; just a different pattern. It just doesn't make sense to have an outside drink holder on one pattern but not on another pattern. At the very least, it should be noted on the product description. These are for my two toddlers, and they both need that feature of a drink holder. If the matching lunch bags had that feature, then that would be okay to not have it on the backpacks. BUT it does not. Also, the way it zips up is different for both backpacks. One pattern zips to the right, and the other pattern zips to the left. That's not a deal breaker, but it is again a bit odd. Unfortunately, my search continues...
