Great paddle for new players
I have had one for over a year and my wife liked it, so I bought the lighter one for her. She loves it!

Not Great.
I really had high hopes for this paddle as I had been borrowing a friend’s similar Gearbox paddle and loved it. This model seemed to have a very small sweet spot and was completely dead if you didn’t hit the sweet spot. No fun at all to play with and very little control compared to other paddles I’ve tried. I’m returning this one.

Cannot recommend this paddle
I wanted to try an elongated paddle. First is price. You can pay a lot more, but unless your an advanced tournament player I don't think you'll see the benefit. So, at this price point, after researching reviews along with Gearbox's reputation I decided to give it a try. This paddle also comes in an 8.5 oz model but I went with the lighter version to reduce strain on my joints and also to reduce fatigue. I've played multiple games with it now and am happy with the purchase. I'm mishitting fewer overhead shots probably due to the extra length and the sweet spot seems to be larger than my traditional shaped paddle. Especially for the price I think this is a great paddle.UPDATE*** I have now played with this paddle for five months and I do like the paddle. However, the edge guard along one side has come loose. Nothing some super glue wont fix but this shouldn't happen in such a short period of time.*SECOND UPDATE* After repairing the edge guard I've played with it 2 days and the paint has cracked and separated from the paddle along the edge so the guard has come loose again. It's going in the trash. I cannot recommend this paddle. Spend your money on something else.

Good spin but not durable
I get great spin from this paddle , unfortunately the face of the paddle is already showing wear and is chipping away.

Bought for my wife
Bought this for my wife. Had no idea that Pickle ball was this big. She has found tournaments and clubs all over the world. I’m like “WTF?!!!”. Anyway, my wife loves it, cant get enough of it. Great racquet, good grip, nice and light.

Love this paddle
This paddle is perfect for me. I am a strictly recreational pb player. It is light weight but still has great pop and is quite easy to direct.
