BELLBike Seat Pads

I acquired the Gelmax because I was looking for maximum support and wanted to mitigate pain when riding. I did purchase two other covers to see what felt best: Schwinn Sport Memory Foam (memory foam only) and the NewYork 3D Silicone (Silicone, Damp foam and memory foam).This is a gel seat, though it doesn't specify what type. It isn't compressible therefore it is likely not memory foam. I have concluded through my various tests and experience that when riding for prolonged periods, memory foam is not as ideal for my body. It compresses too much and doesn't give as much support.This is the thickest and widest of the gel seat covers I have tried. I did have to cinch it up a bit more than the others since it is wider than the competition. There are two thick pads great for the ischial tuberosity where the bottom makes contact with the seat. It has excellent support for the tailbone or coccyx when sitting upright. When leaning forward, it has a nice channel sparing the perineum from vascular or neural compression.The seat is the most comfortable of the three seats covers that I have tried. For a longer period, greater than an hour, I outlast the pain over the pain besting me. Whether I'm seated forward or upright, I have no issues. It is completely comfortable. I prefer the Gelmax above the three I have tested.It has a nonslip base. The cover is a neoprene black. It secures by a drawstring.This is the best cover for comfort. It doesn't affect my pedaling efficiency.Highly, highly, highly recommend, if you suffer from pain while riding.

This Gel seat cusion will help somewhar but what i advise people to do is along with seat cover place padding of some kind on the seat itself. I like to use my lady face pads that they use to put on makeup and what not an tape it to the seat first, a pack of 10 usually does it. Then add the gel cover and tightly fasten the seat cover this help tremendously.

The gel seat is a great improvement over the hard vinyl seat on my 10 speed. As other reviewers have noted, it is a one-size-fits-all design which means it isn't form-fitting for the slim type seats found on 10 speeds. My suggestion would be for Bell to offer two styles - one for saddle seats and one for slim seats. This one-sized seat does have a drawstring, but even when cinched tightly, it doesn't stay put, rather easily shifts position on my slick vinyl seat surface. Could use a non-slip lining.

Have owned 4 of these seats. We liked the first two I ordered so much…turned right around and ordered us a second for future. We cycle everyday and these seats have made cycling so much nicer as are so comfortable. Thank you for such a wonderful lasting product. And…..I will purchase again, if need.

Ordered this seat originally from an Academy Sports store nearby & has to mail it back & now received from Amazon not knowing it was the same store sending it. It is so much thinner than the original Bell seat I bought in ‘16 for my cruiser bike. My old one has more padding & thickness after 6 yrs if riding my bike which I did often. I’m disappointed as riding is not comfy with this seat & I just started using it shortly after I got it. I feel like putting the older one on again. Bell told me they don’t make that one anymore! Why! And price is same as older one. Shane quality has gone down!

Super tight fit on my Pedego seat. Which is a good thing as you don't want it to shift on you while riding. Comfortable and has good padding.

I'm an older man with a comfort bike, this seat cover allows me to ride for a lot longer ride with out my padded under shorts, memory foam is amazing. I feel like a kid again riding without pain .

The only one I could find that works well for the wide bike seat I have. It lasts a long time.

No es ajustable al asiento, tiene un cordon tipo bolsa pero siempre esta bailando, lo regrese ya que era mas lo que batallaba en acomodarlo que lo que podia permanecer montado

Es comodo pero al inicio, por mas que lo aprietes al momento de colocarlo, termina por moverse de su lugar y tendrás que estar acomodandolo constantemente para que no resulte mas incomodo. Por su precio no se puede pedir mucho mas.

Producto mal hecho! El gel se le salió y tuve que tirarlo! Es aerodinámico y cómodo al principio , pero al poco tiempo se deformó!
