Add kosher salt, chopped garlic, some pepper, sear in a pan on both sides and finish in a broiler set on high. Perfect

16oz is total weight and not per steak!
I am extremely disappointed and somewhat embarrassed when I heard my 83 year old parent's response to receiving the two 16oz ribeye steaks I ordered from this company. The steaks were so small that my father gave both of them to my mother to eat since they were not even large enough to feed two 83 year old individuals (despite it being his birthday gift). Apparently the 16oz steaks referred to in the listing was a combined weight - and were not even that I am advised - and not per steak. $80 for a raw piece of meat that feeds only one 83 year old is obscene. Order carefully.

Expensive Holiday Gift that wasn't worth it.
So, for Christmas I wanted to give my sister and brother-in-law something special. I decided to order two steaks of high quality for $75 to have shipped to them.Sometime later I asked my sister in a text how the steaks were and I quote here her typed response:"As far as the meat...I wish I could rave about it but it was very fatty andnot tender :-( It was a lovely thought though."What a disappointment. First off, the shipment was quite delayed and got to them about a week late. To be fair, they did refund my money for the lateness and when my sister texted they'd received the steaks and wondered if I'd sent them (there is no way to include a gift name in package so she wasn't sure) I said yes I had. I then had the money refunded to them as my sister said they were fully still frozen and so it seemed all was okay. Now I learn the steaks were not good at all, and I'm out $75 and my gift was not at all the treat I'd intended for them. Not a happy ending.
