This bird feeder is exceptionally nice!! Well constructed…large size with easy to open lid. It has small holes in the base to prevent rain from laying there and the vents for releasing the bird seed are not too large which will help with water seeping in and wetting the seed in the reservoir. We are very happy with this purchase.

It’s my second and it is a good product but this one unfortunately arrived with a defect

I simply use a wild bird seed mixture. It works fine as the holes are a proper size for black oil sunflower seeds that are part of the wild bird seed mixture. I attract all sorts of sparrows and finches. I even get visits from several cardinals (both male and female).

Nicely made. Holds a lot of seeds. My birds love 💕 it.

I thought it would be smaller, it’s really big and pretty heavy for my little shepards hook. I also wish it were easier to put on a tree. It works though!

The last 2 wood gazebo-style feeders started rotting within a year, and getting gross mold in them when it rains. I've had to clean them out a few times with bleach (to prevent bird disease). So I bought 2 of these, and they're great so far. The plastic does not attract mold so easily (but you should still clean the feeders periodically after a few rains), and they are very easy to fill up: just open the top and pour the seed in directly from a large bucket! No funnel required. The top secures back by leveling it and giving it a slight twist; it would be nice if it felt more solid and "clicked", but the tops stay on, so no problems. Our finches, doves, sparrows, wild pigeons, and even blackbirds love it. I like the rustic look of wooden gazebo feeders, but these days they're getting more and more expensive and the quality is getting worse, so this was a great choice.

4 design flaws- cable/crimp isn't strong enough to support the weight of the feeder. FIX; cut the cable and use 550 cord and a large 1/2in nut. I had to drill the holes slightly to get it to fit.- feeder ports too small for seeds. FIX; use a dremel to enlarge the holes. I doubled the size of the feeder ports.- drainage mesh too small. FIX; drill out 3-4 holes per section.- perch too close to plastic cover. NO FIX, larger birds may not like this design. There's no enough room in the feeder tray for them to perch comfortably.Based on the above I give it a single star. The manufacturer needs to redesign this product.

Pro: Love the style, looks, capacity, material, and ease of use. Well made.Cons: The larger bird seed mixtures, such a black oil sunflower seeds, tiny dried fruit pieces, etc. will jam up as the opening where the seed flows out into the tray is too small. Would work well with the tiny size seed mixtures.
