I liked his training approach in his videos on YouTube so I bought the book when we got our bernedoodle pup.A lot of down to earth information about taking care and training your dog.Even if you're not first time dog owners there is still a lot you can learn from the book. It was actually a great refresher after having our other dog for 12 years. It does not hurt to learn puppy care again.A particularly interesting aspect of his book is that he does go into details about many misconceptions and myths of dog care and training and he backs it up with actual research review. Good work.

I follow Zack on YouTube but it is wonderful to have something in print so I can look up my specific issues I need help with.

What an amazing book and what an amazing trainer Zak is. The book is so simple and well written. Easy to understand as well. I just went gliding over the pages and did not even realise that I came so far. The best part is all the training tips given here have an accompanying Youtube video. And unlike other books you can just start reading any section that feels relevant to you for training your dog at the moment (but best to start from the beginning). I just started teaching my 10 week old pup and he is doing so well. Will surely try to teach my older dogs too.The book covers every possible aspect a pet parent would or should know and not just the training tips. I am re-reading and revisiting the pages, it’s that great and helpful.
