Hard-Boiled Christmas Stories
I looked forward to reading this very much. Half of the stories were quite enjoyable, but the other half just weren't very good. As a result I give this 3.5 stars.

Hardboiled Christmas Stories is without a doubt an enjoyable read - cover to cover. It’s filled with tough guys and broads with all the elements of the hard-knock life of the times. What some guys will do to capture the heart of some dame...? In a word (or two) its entertaining and fun. Each “hardboiled“ story is a slug fest of twists and turns that keep the pages turning. Good job Mr. Wooley!

Great read, great gift
Great collection of pulp Christmas stories. John Wooley's original Dan Turner story is worth the purchase alone. Makes a great gift.
