Easy to set up and for its price, the quality is good. Brought me no problems since I bought it, although it would be better if the brightness and temperature color remained in memory after loosing its power (due to a power outage), causing me to re set up the lamp every time it happens. Overall a recommended good looking and bright ceiling light.

Instructions weren't very helpful but with a small amount of wiring electrical knowledge it was very simple.

I installed this unit and the light for my 13x13 room was adequate. Since it's dimmable, I was hoping for too much light and then I could dial it down but have that extra if I needed it. So, I decided to go for the larger size only Jaycomey did not sell the larger size so I went with a different brand. BIG MISTAKE. This unit had quality strong mounting hardware with multiple options and quality wire connectors. Stay away from Huilefu, you can read my review over there, these lights might look the same they are NOT the same.

UPDATE: It stopped working after 3 months!!! We rarely used the light because it's in a lounge room that's not used too often so I'm sooooo disappointed that its no longer working!!!! This was a beautiful light and I showed it off whenever family/friends came by... I'm not a happy camper right now!!!!

This light really provides a modern update to our home theater, love the dimmable options along with color choices. Remote is useful but not really all that easy to figure out. Overall I would buy again.

I got this light for my office/game room and was excited about but now I am merely ok with it. First off, the instructions were awful so it took the electrician 2 hours to put the thing together and install it. Secondly, it does look a bit flimsy and the remote came without any instructions and some of the buttons on it don't appear to do anything. Lastly, the light makes a buzzing sound in some settings which is annoying. I was hoping it would work with my smart dimmer but it does not and in fact if the dimmer is accidentally turned off, this light will reset which is kind of annoying... so overall, if I could easily uninstall and return it I would, but it is not worth the cost. Those problems aside, now that it is installed, it looks nice, and is bright and it is useful to have the remote. I reached out to the seller to ask about the instructions and the buzzing sound but have not heard back. I will update my review if I hear back with satisfactory resolution.

This light looks and works great. Got my grandson to install it for me.

If you’re an electrician or accomplished DIYer you’ll eventually figure it out but, if you aren’t, avoid this product like the plague. It also required some cutting/adjustment to fit together as intended (positively ridiculous) as you can see in the picture, the main box and light “squares” simply did not fit as provided.

Oct 2020: Light fixture looks very nice and when turning on the light switch the glow was perfect but to actually get to that point is a load of work. We had to modify mounting bracket to hold the light -bracket doesnt match with standard Canadian light mounts. The next problem was the remote doesn't communicate with the light for the dimmable feature So we can turn off and on but remote dimmable feature doesn't work even after trying multiple times to program it as per the instructions that comes with the light. After 2 days of tinkering disappointed with results. Thinking of returning this and getting the cheaper non dimmable version. After more tries - we got the remote to communicate - When ordering this - remember it will not be a simple mount. But the results are so worth it. Oct 2023: Adding to the original review. After 3 years of purchase..the capacitor broke down.
