Measurements difficult to convert for US baking
I’m sure these recipes are great, but my kids could not get them to work because of the metric grams used in the recipes. They all also had ounces- but I learned that 5 ounces of sugar is not 5/8th of a cup like I thought- since 1 cup is generally 8 fluid ounces. It’s more like .74 ? You have to convert each ingredient differently, flour is different from sugar etc. I know you may say- just convert it - but it’s hard to get 0.8 cups when a standard Us measuring set is all you have in the kitchen. So if you’re buying in the US - be familiar with grams and have a variety of measuring instruments.

Lovely book, great recipes
I own dozens of cookery books - most of them are soley focused on baking. This is the first cupcake recipe book I have purchased. The selection of recipes in this book is really great and to me seems refeshingly different to the other cupcake books I have previously borrowed from the library. There are a couple of recipes which include coconut, an ingredient I have never been enamoured to use but the bounty cupcakes are really good!I am really happy with this book. It is well laid out and the photography is beautiful it is a real pleasure to read.

Very Mumsy
I bought this book as it looked cool from the pics. However, it's full of pics of the author and her young kids which really put me off. The recipes weren't great either. Not impressed.

disappointing
had great expectations for this book, but it did not deliver. Far too many whoopie pie recipes, not recommended for people who are looking for a good cupcake book.
