5301 must be first version in these line of products and dell store has 5310 (which might have hardware revisions and better material quality) at a higher price5301 is also a good product to buy, given its light weight and low pricing compared to its line of new laptop versionsFor better battery life it would be better to optimize by turning off majority of background apps that are running (factory settings have all ON) and stop running Microsoft Teams like apps on GPUone need to be careful with screen, we have experienced a recently bought inspiron laptop screen is broken with an accident(throwing aplastic water bottle which have water)I would suggest to take accidental warrantee.For a home user (not for gaming) who look for light weight LAPTOPS with decent performance this one is a good choice

Like - Laptop is thin and lightweight, processor is good, starts and shuts quicklyDislike - Continuous flickering, random restart, hangs quite often, poor after sales service from amazon (i booked for technician visit twice within the replacement time frame but no one arrived. After replacement time frame, amazon said we cant do anything. you need to contact dell.)Overall disappointed with Amazon service

I am writing this out of sheer disappointment. I was once a die hard Dell products fan for its durability till I bought this laptop. Before this purchase, I have been using dell Inspiron laptop for nearly 10 years but this new laptop has now changed my perception as same ha stopped working with in a month. This laptop was having many issues since the day I purchased it including problem with Windows, initially there was some earthing issue while putting this on charge when you touch the outer body it used to vibrate giving a sensation of very light electric shock. I approached customer care for the same but didn't get any remedy therefore I thought it must be normal thing. After a week or so, to my utter shock the laptop stopped working and didn't get switched on only. On approaching and highlighting the issue to customer care a number of times finally a Dell customer service agent has come after a week and changed the mother board. I requested Dell customer care for replacement as opening and repairing a brand new laptop costing more than Rs 60k that too within a month is very disheartening for a customer but it was of no use. I would still request Dell India Head for replacement , just imagine my mental state incase same thing happens with him, a brand new laptop getting opened and repaired within a month how discouraging it would be. I also request Amazon India through whose platform I bought this laptop. As the offline vendors in my city claims they would have got it replaced instead of repair, had it been bought from there store. In the end I would sum up although the product was fulfiling my requirement but the customer support is not upto the mark. As a goodwill incase any product doesn't come upto the expectation in terms of quality and make that too within a month should be straight away replaced by Dell India without a question mark. Had the same thing happened with a customer in US, it would have been replaced but for Indians these companies have different norms.

A best option for students and professionals, who wants to carry the laptop always. It will never regret you for sure. Hardware by dell is one of the best.

Dell is a third quality cheap chinese product with an American logo on it to cheat Indians and steal our hard earned money. Purchased a premium model by paying nearly 15,000 more than the competitor laptop and got a crap quality product. At first when I opened itself I found the keyboard is not working properly. Then the touch pad stopped working. Then camera starts giving grains instead of image and later stopped working. All these happened with in two weeks of time and one or two hours of use. Another biggest head ache is calling the customer support for solving these issues. Most of the people don't have adequate technical knowledge and solely by their mistake it took weeks to attend by a technician. Most of the time they brought wrong parts so again delayed. Now a brand new laptop opened and changed all majorcomponents like key board with palm rest, touch pad, camera, Lcd screen etc. And Dell people areclaiming that they are checking the key board for 1 lakh key strokes, checking touch pad for 2 lakh times, checking camera for 4 lakh times and all. A simple person with common sence can find that all the hardwares are not working within 1 or two clicks. But still Dell Quality assurence engineers couldnot find the quality issues even after 1 lakh key strokes!!!!! After complaing about the issue it took17 days to solve it. Most of the customer support people are also not with proper experience andlike Parrots with some ready made reply taught by some one. Also I got tons and tons of sorry and appologies from Dell people after selling a pathetic product to me. This is my 4th Dell laptop. Except the first one which I bought in 2010, rest allhad hardware issues. Still after getting problems from two more laptops in 2018 and 2019, again Imade the same mistake, again bought Dell laptop by paying a premium price. One thing is sure Dell will be the next American company going to pack up from India after Chevrolet and Ford. We can cheat some one..once..twice..or thrise...but not always..One thing is sure here Dell lost one customer whobelieved in Dell. Next time I will not buy a Dell product and never ever recommend Dell to any one.

This product is awesome, especially good who enjoys journey to the mountain (very light weight) & writing book with cup of coffee..😀👍
