UPDATE (12/1/18):These withstood the heat of summer here in Los Angeles (with some days reaching nearly 100F outside), and stayed stuck to my windows - even with the constant taping on and off of the insulation materials (though, I did use caution in removing the insulation material). I also used this to tape on some material to my air vents that caught particles coming out of the HVAC vents. Really good use of $15, I'd say! I teach from home so I had to create a wall backdrop to make it look like my classroom. I attached poster board to the wall for background color, then I used the velcro on the poster board to attach other light weight items such as border, alphabet flashcards and other light weight posters.When I woke up the next morning, the entire display was on the floor. I was terribly disappointed because I had taken a lot of time to carefully size, cut and place each item. I ended up using glue to attached the self adhesive velcro to each of the items, then I put each item in place with the other side of the velcro strip (also glueing the velcro to each item).

When I saw the price and the amount of Velcro I was getting, I ordered it. I should have known , you get what you pay for. It is Velcro, sort of, it's OK, if you need just a wee bit of holding power, other wise, pay more and get the good stuff. I wanted it to hold a new dash cover on my Eclipse, so I used darn near the whole roll but even after I used half a pint of alcohol to clean the dash, it still will barley stick. I gave it three stars because it did arrive in three days, counting two days of a weekend. No, I wouldn't buy it again.

We bought this for our magnetic screen for on our deck. Our lab/shepherd mix uses it as a doggie door. The velcro tape is holding up with the heat and all the rain we've had in our area the last few months.

I liked the fact that the Velcro comes in long rolls so you can cut it to size desired. Also I like the fact that one side could be sewed onto fabric. Some brides to be didn't like the animal pictures we had on the wall so I purchased some quilted bedspreads and cut them to a size to cover the picture and frame. I then sewed the Velcro onto the quilted picture of songbirds and butterflies. I then glued the loop tape to the top of the frame and the pictures now give our event center an entirely different look. Success!
