Whimsical World Coloring Book: Fairies, Mermaids, Witches and More!

I adore anything whimsical so I was very excited to get an entire book dedicated to fairies, mermaids & witches. The subjects are adorable & not overly detailed. Adult enough for adults but children could color them as well. The pages are non-perforated but could easily be removed with scissors or an X-acto blade. None of the images run off the page & all of them have a border. The paper is thin & will require you to put something between the pages if you are using markers or pens. Colored pencils are fine. I didn't want to cut my page out as I want to color them over and over again. I just laid the book flat & that is why you see a dark line/shadow on the side from my small printer. I know I can cut them out & save the image to avoid this but I could not wait & had to start coloring.I am not an artist or even a coloring expert. I just love to color while the music is playing & unplug from the world. In this example I used Copic markers & Sakura jelly rolls. The blue color in the background is Mungyo pastels (I do not have patience to color in backgrounds. I give props to those who do).

I am absolutely hooked on adult coloring books. I color with the grand kids but their coloring books leave a little to be desired. The eight year old grand kid told me she only wants to color in adult coloring books.I went on a search for some adult coloring books that would be suitable for kids. I found this book, Whimsical World by Molly Harrison.It has cute whimsical characters that appeal to adults and kids. The characters are sweet and cute. My grand daughter has no issues coloring the pages. The pages are easy enough for her to color with out frustration. She has been using colored pencils and crayons while I use gel pens or thin markers.The pages are nice and thick but we always remove them from the book (easy to do so) and place them on a thin plastic place mat. We don't have any kind of bleed through with the pages.Overall, we enjoy this coloring book. It helps us to focus on the task at hand, not the stressful things in life.

I love this coloring book, as do my daughters (10 & 12). The pictures are adorable (all 25 of them). They are printed on one side. The pages are not perforated. I break the binding down and we take the pictures out that way. The paper isn't very thick, so if you're coloring in the book, you'll want paper in between the pages. Some mediums do bleed through. I like that all of the pictures are printed on the back, it makes it easier to decide which to color, rather then flipping and re-flipping throughout all of the pages. Some pictures are easier and quicker to color, and others have more detail and take a little longer, so there are choices for whatever you're in the mood for. We will definitely be buying more copies for ourselves and family/friends, and will be on the look-out for more Whimsical World coloring books! Beautiful work!

Nice little coloring book, a little pricey for a coloring book, but the designs are just so cute. The outlines are HUGE, full page size. But, if you want to photo copy you can reduce the size so that part I like. Really nice selection of Fairies.Will buy the Authors other color books in the future.

The illustrations in the book are absolutely adorable, and the book itself is worth every penny. The images are one sided so you can use just about any medium, maybe adding a blotter between pages if you plan on using markers to prevent marker bleed through. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is a fan of Molly Harrison or even to people that are looking for something different to color besides the usual flowers and leaves.

This is by far one of my favorite books I've ever owned, by one of my favorite artists. The pictures are simple yet cute, which leaves a lot of room for creativity. I wish I could afford everything by Molly Harrison!

I bought this coloring book for my daughter, I didn't realize how cute the pictures would be and she was so excited. She's almost 4, and her coloring has greatly improved from toddler scribbles to pretty darn good artistic skills. She loves it, and she has colored all of them so I ordered her another one today. Love it!

I hadn't heard of Molly Harrison before this book. I love cute things, and especially love fairies etc and this book does not disappoint! The pictures are beautifully drawn and extremely cute. For this price it isn't the best quality, the paper could be a bit thicker, and perhaps a few more pages but overall I am happy.

I have so many colouring books now and all different. As a novice I thought I would practice on the less detailed books like Johanna basford until I get to know what I am up against. I am also finding what best pens etc to use. This is a lovely book and I am happy with it

This item looked more like a child's colouring book I could buy from any pound store, I have a few adult colouring books and feel they are all of superior quality to this one. The I mages look very large and basic, definitely not worth the price of over £6 disappointed 😢

Many think that this colouring book is child-like, however the images are just like the stamped images which I use for making cards. I love it!

The book looked far nicer on the cover than the actual book when it arrived....Very basic pictures & more suited for a child but not at the price.Very disappointed & will be arranging a return on the item as did not live up to expectation sadly :(
