Walnut Hollow, Dog Bone Pine Signboard, Sandal

I purchased this wood dog bone plaque in order to make a leash and collar hanger for our 8 month old German Shepherd, "Ahsoka." I used my laser engraver to write Ahsoka's name and draw the 4 paw prints. I also used the black plastc dog tails to use as the leash and collar hangers. The wood plaque has also been hand rubbed with Walrus Oil cutting board preserver. Now, everyone that sees the collar and leash hanger wants one for their dog.This wood dog bone plaque is very smooth, and the edge routering is really nice. There are no cracks or checks in the wood, just the normal knots found naturally in all pine wood. This wood plaque is fairly large. It measures 16 inches across at the widest part of the bone knuckles. The center part is 4 inches high, and the bone knuckles are 6" high. This wood plaque is around 3/4 of an inch thick. Overall, this is a very good quality wood dog bone plaque.Walnut Hollow makes some great crafting products, and I have been using them for decades (especially their high quality quartz clock movements). This wood dog bone plaque is no exception. I highly recommend this wood dog bone plaque for anyone that wants to make a nice dog sign for their pooch, or for someone else's pup.

Just as expected

I used this for a project for my dog’s leashes and collars. The hangers were bigger than expected (see photos), so I drug my feet on doing the project. I explained it to my husband, and he decided to make it his way. (Ha ha! Men! See photos). It is really good quality, very thick, and sturdy. My piece was three different planks combined but that’s okay and could have made a beautiful stained project. I may take the hangers off and finish the wood anyway. Ha ha. So many cute ideas to be made with this!!

This dog bone sign board is perfect for my gift craft project. The dog bone has no flaws in the wood—no knots, splinters, or cracks. The wood is smooth and needs no sanding. I used glue dots to secure wood letters and hammered a tiny finish nail to hang wooden “ornaments” that I found at a craft store. Easy to make and everyone likes it!

I purchased this board to make a plaque to hold the collar of my dog, who recently passed away. I used a woodburning pen on it and then stained the wood and it turned out perfect. I purchased 3 since they were so reasonably priced, in case I messed the first one up. It was exactly the quality I would have expected. Very nice, held up wonderfully to the woodburning pen and took the stain nicely. I'm including a photo so maybe it could help someone who wanted to see how it would take stain, etc. Very good product--I'd order again if I had the need.

Perfect for the crafts I'm doing! My only complaint is that I want to order more but now there is an almost $6 charge for shipping and it was free prime shipping last week when I ordered.....

I bought the bone for a.craft project my child was working on. I was surprised. The bone is think & a good quality. My child painted it, & the wood was smooth. I would definitely buy again
