I didnt need as many as the package had. But I used them for my daughter's cupboard and she hasn't attempted opening it yet so, so far they work well ... she actually hasn't touched her cupboard doors since I put them on there. We have a second little baby growing to be very curious about door soon as well, so i might use another couple of these for a few other places in the house to secure them from him.
