These tools were recommended in a turbo swap video on YouTube. Purchasing these was the difference between doing a turbo swap in a MK7.5 Golf Alltrack from the top or without them, having to remove your downpipe (which means CV Shaft removal) among many others.For the price, it saved at least 4 hours of work and avoided a lot of frustration. These also fit many other bolts on the VW. They seem very sturdy, fit in their respective bolt heads perfectly, I am ecstatic that I heard about these before attempting the job.I will now be buying their Allen head and maybe Torx head sets in the near future.15/10 Highly Recommend

I love these tools. Let me just say what makes these tools great is not only how well they are made, also the customer service I received when I broke one of them. I emailed them and I received an email back shortly there after. They mailed me out a new tool and was back in business within a couple days. Come to find out they are a small family owned business. How great is that. I will definitely recommend and continue to buy from them in the future.

Needed these for 2000 Jetta. They worked very well especially because they can be used with a ratchet or wrench. They are strong, so won't round out. Well made, strong, and durable.

I was excited to purchase this Carbyne super short T-10 to T60 torx bit socket set. I have a high-quality Sunex short Torx set, but I wanted the added capability of using box end wrenches. It is my fault for not more carefully studying the item's images. I associate Torx bits with metric sizes. I understood that the socket sizes were standard SAE 1/4 in, 3/8 in, and 1/2 in, but I expected the wrench sizes to be metric. After receiving the item I went to use a box end wrench and found more play between the bit and the wrench than I expected. I then discovered that the bits are designed to work with SAE wrenches. European cars heavily use Torx and eTorx bolts and these vehicles also use metric fasteners. I just assumed that the Carbyne Torx bit would be sized for metric wrenches. I only have metric tools. Thus I returned the Carbyne and purchased the Mayhew Tools 16003. If you have SAE wrenches, the Carbyne Torx bits will work well for you.

Bought these sockets simply for the fact that you can put a wrench on the end of theses sockets. Has saved me from massive headache with this feature very great sockets for the price.

remove screws and bolts

I haven’t ever written an Amazon review for a product before but I feel it’s warranted here.I bought this set after reading some reviews on others where people had issues with the sockets holding up to abuse. The only reason I needed a set was for my wife’s VW Passat, in particular to change the brake rotors on the rear.Living in the rust belt, I suspected these triple square bolts on her vehicle would be rusted in, and boy were they ever.I literally BEAT on these sockets with a hammer and my ratchet and pried with great force to break those bolts free and these sockets held up. They came out looking brand new. No scuffs. No tears. No rounding.I’m truly impressed. Great product here.

I will never know why these were invented ! This kit is the Cat's meow and works great. Nice neat unit, very good idea to make short and able to wrench. Very well thought out and constructed, thanks. (Just wish no one invented what they are used to remove/install !)
