A Mary Oliver Collection: A Thousand Mornings, Dog Songs, Blue Horses, and Felicity

A nice soft back collection of poetry by the Ohio poet Mary Oliver who unfortunately passed away in 2019.

I absolutely adore Mary Oliver, and so was thrilled to get this collection of four of her finest poetry books. The books themselves are great, however unfortunately all the corners of the covering were already wrinkled and bent on arrival, with some dents on the side too. The book was only shipped in a shoft padded envelope, and so must have been handled badly during transport or packing. For this price, that is very unfortunate.

These are all new poems to me, and I always enjoy the way Mary Oliver interprets the world; she is fullyinvolved in all that she sees, hears, tastes and smells. This collection will not disappoint her many fans.

The box set is a wonderful way to purchase Mary Oliver’s poems. I like to leave them on my coffee table where they are available to enjoy anytime.
