Easiest way to mix is with a frother. Cold water only, if you try it in tea, It'll gel up and get clumpy. Texture: a little grit, but easy to drink. If you have texture issues, might be a problem but doesn't bother me at all. Flavor: to me, it tastes like mushroom water. Its curious, but doesn't bother me, I like mushrooms anyway. I'm sure it'll bother others as they say it tastes gross. Function: I'm using this to replace wheat dextrin and it's working well. Seems more effective for me, I was using 8 tsp of wheat dextrin a day and it still wasn't enough due to a med I use. Currently at 2 tsp of psyllium and have reduced dextrin to 5tsp. Been using psyllium for 4 days now, starting at half teaspoon and increasing by half teaspoon each day. Bottom line, it works, but be aware of the flavor and texture before you buy.
