LEGOFuture Backpack

It is a bit thin and it was a bit pricey but like everything LEGO, it’s expected. My almost 5 y/o son loves it. It has 2 large zipper pockets so it can easily carry his snow pants, mittens, hat in one side and lunch kit, water bottle, art projects in the other. It’s a great fit for him and I can even wear it comfortably if I pull out and adjust the shoulder straps.

This back pack was awesome. It lasted through kindergarten and first grade for my son. And the only reason I need to get him a new back pack for second grade is because this one is just a little dirty looking after those 2 years of use. It is still in great shape! My son loved it - the look (big Lego ninjago fan), the way it felt, the way it worked, everything. The strap in the front is a nice option to help them carry a heavier load and feel secure. It has plenty of space and pockets and is nicely padded.

I rarely feel compelled to write reviews but as I packed my son's backpack yet again this morning, I realised that after almost 2 years of daily use (from a rough & tumble now 8 year old) this bag is in virtually flawless condition still. I have a feeling my son will outgrow the backpack before it starts to show any sign of wear. My daughter has had three backpacks in the same time which have each been replaced due to fraying seams or broken zips, but this Ninjago bag is fantastic quality. I also love that it has a chest strap so that my son can bear the weight when he has it full of heavy books etc. The other advantage is that my son is the only one in his school with this bag so it's easy to spot when flung in the corner of the classroom or playground. I would definitely recommend this backpack to others.

My son has used this backpack for elementary school the past 3 years (K-2) and it is still in excellent condition. We also used it on our trip to Disney World and Legoland because it is so lightweight and comfortable. He could keep using it for school, but he has been asking for a new one to change things up. He could seriously use this another year or even more. Best backpack we have ever had.
