exercice en tout confort
ce vélo permets de réaliser ces exercices dans des conditions de confort nettement supérieur qu'au velo classique, pas mal aux fesses et bon maintien du dos, cela permets de séances plus longues.

Bluetooth doesn't work. Audio buzzes. It's clunky. It does function as a basic exercise bike, I suppose.
I ordered this bike direct from Amazon rather than a third-party, albeit not available on Prime. It took longer to arrive than expected, though. The courier Amazon arranged was ArrowXL, and it took a week just for the package to arrive with the courier. On the day Amazon said it was due to arrive, I got a message from ArrowXL saying the delivery was unsuccessful. A phone call clarified that it was just that it hadn't been booked in for delivery! So, another week went past. I hope this was a rare mistake.Anyway, it arrived in a large box, and took a good couple of hours to assemble. It's fairly straightforward, with acceptable instructions and well-labelled parts. However, there are some needlessly fiddly bits: for example, where they've put screws without clearance so they have to be done up manually with an allen key, rather than just sticking in an electric screwdriver.Once assembled, it's a fairly average recumbent exercise bike. It does the job, but some of the features leave a lot to be desired. The programmes are inexplicable: just large codes like "R 1" and "I 6" popping up, rather than the nifty bar-graphs you see on higher-end models. I didn't think these would be necessary as I'd assumed they'd be explained in the manual (not the case!) or controllable through an App (also not the case!)As far as the Bluetooth is concerned, it's a non-starter. In the description on Amazon and on the Pro-Form iFit site, there's no mention of subscriptions or anything else: just that there's an optional iFit app available for iOS and Android. When the only available app for my iPhone comes up -- iFit Coach -- it starts demanding £79/year for an iFit subscription! I managed to get past this with a "Skip" option that was, shall we say, unobtrusive, but for all I've tried I can't get it to pair with the bike. There's also no hope, as far as I can see, in getting it connected to a traditional app like Cyclemeter or Strava, either as a Bike Power sensor or even Speed / Cadence. It's utterly proprietary, and so these apps just don't see it.It doesn't help that the support sites listed for this app come back with a big fat 404 File Not Found error. So, one of the main reasons I bought this model -- Bluetooth connectivity -- is bogus. Oh well, I thought, maybe I can use it with Bluetooth audio for the integrated speakers... unfortunately not: you have to get a 3.5mm phono to phono (headphone) cable and plug your phone or "MP3 Player" in.Admittedly, that works... if you can hear your music or podcasts above the infernal buzz that issues forth from the speakers at all times. That and the roar from the pathetic air blower they've thoughtfully but artlessly included. While we're up at that end of the bike, the front handlebars are not well-positioned for a recumbent. I'm relatively but not excessively tall -- 6'1" -- and I find it a bit of a stretch to reach the handlebars when sat back as designed. That'd be fine except the under-seat handlebars don't have pulse sensors! No matter: the pulse sensors were giving spurious signals anyway, unless I really did have a heart rate of 56 bpm forty minutes into a cycle. My Apple Watch reckons it's more like 120 bpm.My final beef is with the seat. Typical of the type of recumbent bike, the photos show a lever coming out from under the seat just below the bottom handlebars. I'd expect the user to gently lift this sprung-loaded lever, and the seat would smoothly slide as desired. Wrong. The lever isn't sprung; it's just directly fixed to a cam on the slider. So, with a worryingly-strong pull, the lever will suddenly give way with a loud bang and the seat will slide. A similar force will yield another bang and it's locked into place. I was worried mine was faulty, but it looks like it's built that way.So, to conclude, all the advanced features are incredibly badly implemented and not fit for purpose, as far as I can see. If it weren't such a heavy lump I'd call Amazon and get them to take it back. In fact, I still might.
