Doesn’t work for all kinds of ants
Doesn’t work with all kinds of ants but works like a miracle if you have very small ants from the garden. They disappeared in 3 days. The bigger ones did not take the bait. Better used direct on the surface. The plastic trays didn’t work

Worked almost too well
I was having issues with ants coming into my living room through a crack in my third-floor apartment window. Even though the issue was due to weather changes, I made sure to eliminate any possible food sources and cleared out the entire space just to be sure. Still, the ants were coming in by the dozens and even crawling up the sofa. It was absolutely disgusting.Out of desperation, I bought this product. I had previously used Borax when dealing with an ant problem at my old apartment, so I figured this product would be the most reliable and it would be more convenient than preparing and using the homemade method that I had previously done. The first night I placed a few of the traps with several drops of the solution. The ants wouldn’t take the bait and would keep walking around the trap. I figured I’d have to look into another option the next day and went to bed. The next morning, though, I woke up and there were 100s of ants in the traps. By the time I came home from work, all the ants were gone — and they have not appeared again. This product worked really well and was easy to use. I’d definitely recommend it to deal with any ant issues.

JFC I WASN'T EXPECTING THIS TO WORK SO WELL
Using a borax and sugar water solution to eliminate ants is nothing new, and there's really nothing novel about this product. And that's okay. I had sugar ants all over my kitchen, and I didn't really feel like buying borax and making this stuff myself, so I just bought this stuff Harris already mixed up.Now, it looks like other customers have had good luck with the plastic traps these come with, which are very very thin flimsy plastic. (which is okay) But for me they ended up being completely useless. What worked for me was putting some drops directly on my cabinet shelves in the paths that ants were taking. Only a couple of these drops seemed to garner any attention, but oh they garnered attention. The ants LOVED this stuff, and they were all too happy to bring it home with them! The next day, yes the day AFTER I put down only a couple of useful drops, they were gone. Nowhere. Now, I don't want to use "naughty language" in my review, but holy something something this something worked fasstttt! Now, I suspect this colony was quite small, so I wouldn't expect this will work that fast typically, and it sounds like it can take up to a couple of weeks usually. As well, keep in mind that this product won't work with all ants. But for sugar ants, it definitely does. So, if you have an ant problem of a variety that will be attracted to sugar water, and you don't feel like mixing up some borax/sugar water solution to feed them, then yeah, this product will do the trick nicely, and I'd definitely recommend it. Though I probably won't buy it again anytime soon because I still have a nearly full hand-sanitizer sized bottle of it, (it didn't take much at all) and luckily no ants in sight at the moment. Let's hope it stays that way.

Not sure this works
Southern California is just a living ant hill. In some ways it helped because ants are not focused only on one place in the house with two entry points that I could identify.I put a plastic foil on the ground at the two focus points with 2x Raid Max Double Control Ant Bait, 2x Terro Liquid Ant killer, and then drops of the Harris Ant Killer all around. The Raid Max bait is mostly ignored. My assumption is that ants here look for fluid and dry bait does not attract them. Both the Terro and the Harris attracts them a lot! The Harris one because it is just many drops on the foil is surrounded by ants, the Terro a bit less accessible because of the container entry. I think both has advantages and disadvantages. The bait can dry out and once it becomes too hard the ants do not go for it anymore. The Terro container keeps the bait more liquid for a day or two.I THOUGHT that I had achieved victory after 3 days when I looked mid-day as there were only like 3 ants left. But then I learned that ants in hot climates are more night active - and sure enough at night the ant traps are full of ants. Now, I have bought this and the other ant traps already 3 times, so I invested about 16 terro traps, 6 raid ones (they do not matter imo), and 2 bottles of Harris. And this is in week 3 now, and they keep coming.I know it kills them, that is for sure. But at this point I wonder if they replace the queens faster than the poison kills them. Or if I have attracted any other ant nest in the neighborhood to come to my house.
