Totally fine!
Don't hesitate. Sound is fine for critical listening with a boost of clearly defined low FQ's. I love the smaller on ear phones with good closed noise reduction, as opposed to the M50x over-ear version that is too tight and ON your ears unless you have very tiny ones. Light-weight and rugged pro construction. 2 detachable cords included about 120 cm and 320 cm. AT really meets standards are low cost.

used daily for sleeping, the cup is small enough to go on your ear when your head is on a pillow.
So this is an on-ear version of the Audio-Technica M50X... (with some more features I will mention down below)Drop every pre-conceived notion about the driver from say, Zeo's videos. I've never had the M50X, but listened to them. They do sound as if they have the same 50mm driver, but the distance of the driver to your ear, and the housing/pads are all different. And for this particular driver, the on-ear is the way to go.The On-ear sounds good, much more clearer and present bass than headphones, imagine the classic Audio-Technica M50/X but without the rumbling and harshness that some people find and hate.I've owned these headphones for more than 2 years while having other, arguably better headphones, but out of my headphones, these M60X has been worn the longest, why?Because it does 2 things very well:1. The headphones come with a decibel limiter, which limits the maximum sound to 100dB, there is a tiny switch on the top of the left cup that limits the total volume output through hardware (resistors). It takes a toothpick to change between the two modes. This means you can use the headphones to test bunch of audio equipments (this is also a really good reference monitor), that have different gain levels, it's pretty obvious when the headphones limit the volume (the sound will cut out), you can adjust accordingly, never blow out your ears/earphones by accidentally plugging it into a nuclear reactor (you know the brands).1-1. The volume limiter works on EVERYTHING, it's not a software solution, it will work on games if you hate some explosion sounds.2. The headphones have very good, comfortable padding and is on-ear, which means I can sleep with these earphones, and as long as I don't sleep on my sides, I can wear it indefinitely because the bottom of the cups aren't pushed into the pillows at all, and the pads are thick, comfortable, and don't get sweaty at all for me (it does get warm). I've fell asleep to so much music over the years I had these that I can confidently say that these headphones have the most on-time out of all my other headphones which I use normally for music. Every day I put on a good album/playlist, and I can only remember listening to the first 3 or 4.2-1. These headphones are amazing for Solo, classic music. Like Glenn Gould's piano recordings and spoken words / audiobooks. The mids are pronounced and the sounds are clear and distinct, like other reference monitors - but unlike those mid-focused headphones, the bass is also clear and impactful, but it's also very easy for ears. The best headphones for bedside listening.
