BioLite BaseLantern XL Lantern and Power Bank, 12000mAh

Love the brightness and versatility of this lantern, but there are a few areas for improvement. First, although the plastic lens seems fairly durable it would be awesome if there was some kind of travel protection by way of a hard case or something like that. Also, the app doesnt work as nicely as I want it to. It disconnects quite a bit and then you need to reconnect. The power reading doesnt seem to be 100% reliable, and it takes a little bit for the peripheral sitelights to be recognized so I can control them. Overall it's pretty awesome, dont get me wrong.. thats just me being nitpicky.

Works great, and the Bluetooth app is useful but not perfect. Long long battery life, great for camping and charged phones and devices well. As a lantern this is a delight to have in the tent or for a meal.Add the USB flexible BioLite attachment for an excellent long lasting cooking or task light.The newer replacement is lighter but much less satisfying light quality and batter size. They do not make them like they used to.

あまり悪いレビューは書きたくないのですが、事実を伝えます。数年前に購入しましたが、いざ使用すると全く反応しませんでした。マニュアルもサイトに上がっておらず、サポート（英語のメールのみしかない）に連絡し、指示された方法を試しましたが、全く反応すらしません。保証期間が1年であることを考慮しても不良品をつかまされ、無駄なゴミが増えただけという結果です。購入金額（15,000円）やサポートを考慮しても過去20年のアマゾンでの購入品のうち、最悪の買い物となりました。絶対におススメしません。この企業の製品には気を付けてください。

If you're going on an extended back-country expedition, this product _might_ be worth it. I have a lot of respect for Biolite as a company and so I had high expectations for this product, however it fell short. I'll qualify this by saying that I think what they're doing is extremely difficult, and there are aspects of this product that show their hard work. I hope they succeed, I'm just not willing to donate a couple hundred bucks to the cause.*The App* - Poor interface IMO. Controls are all over the place and the the on-boarding/set-up is poor. Special mention goes to the charge indicator which seems to take forever and sometimes just doesn't work.*The Build* - Seemed like a good, sturdy build, however within a week mine developed an issue where it would never charge up all four indicator dots no matter how long it was plugged in for.*The Light* - Not bad, but the soft yellow setting still felt a bit bright and obtrusive to us. There are a bunch of other modes, most of which weren't particularly useful.*The Service* - Pretty good. They immediately offered to replace the item, but I'm planning to return it. Just too many issues IMO considering the premium price. Also, they seemed a bit snitty that I didn't like their app. I'm guessing they're pretty proud of it.*The Marketing* - Top notch. :)

Great light very bright, when paired with the app it’s pretty cool.Being able to charge my phone with it is nice too.
