Mad HippieFacial Spf, 2.1 Oz

THE FIRST EVER daily SPF NOT to irritate my skin and cause me to react to it within minutes and need to wash it all off my face and take allergy medicine!! I CANNOT BELIEVE I FOUND MY MAGIC FORMULA AT LAST!!!I moved to Florida TEN years ago, and have been searching high and low for a daily SPF. Amazon suggested this to me at random when I picked up ThinkSport body and face sunblock. I knew I wouldn’t react to the ThinkSport, even though I hadn’t ever used the face kind yet, and though the package says it’s for daily SPF use, I found it heavy.I went ahead and bought the Mad Hippie SPF at the same time as the ThinkSport, thinking “What the [heck]! It’s not that expensive, and maybe Amazon will let me return it if I AM allergic to it.”OMGGGG!!!! I was pleasantly surprised with the Mad Hippie and have fallen in LOVE with it!! I really mean L-O-V-E LOVE!!Aaaaand it doesn’t hurt that it smells great ;) Sweet but not cloyingly sweet. Like a fresh kiss from a baby sunshine to you!!

The scent is nice, and it applies very easily without being sticky - bear in mind though that you should shake it well before applying so it doesn't come out as just oil.It does leave a somewhat oily texture on my skin, but not in an unpleasant way. I do not think it leaves a white cast, but I have fair skin so it might be noticeable on somewhat darker skin.So far I am very pleased!

Love this product! It smells super good and lasts a while. I use it every morning and can’t do my routine without it. I will say it’s super thick and can get stuck in eyebrow hair, along the hair line if you’re not careful.

Hi, Folks. I am a big fan of Mad Hippie's Vitamin C Serum. However, the Sunscreen just doesn't take the cake for me... a woman who is of Afro-Latin roots. I slathered about a pea-sized drop of this cream into the palm of one hand and rubbed both hands together before applying the potion to my face.This didn't help.Upon application, my face looked as though I were embalmed. Damn. What a chalky appearance I had. It may be good for sun-protection, but not great for humans of a darker/ melanated hue.

I love Mad Hippie; I like this product. It does what it is supposed to do, smells great (not like sunscreen) and isn’t overpowering. However, there is a major white cast with this sunscreen. Maybe it’s just because I’m pale af. I’ve tried to minimize it but to avail...the white cast stays almost all day for my face. I will keep this product to use on my tattoos most likely, but will unfortunately be searching for a new mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast.
