cheap, good, durable
I use these exclusively as sunglasses. They nailed every aspect of what I need, to where there's no point in even looking elsewhere. They are pretty scratch resistant, I've used a pair on long distance hikes, and they last months. I only replace them if they get too scratched up. Which happens eventually, and I don't baby my gear at all. I do put a cloth or something on the temples, or separate them somehow when folded, that's the only flaw I've seen in them, the earpieces eventually can scratch up the lenses. Anti fog is ok, not great. If you wear a facemask in a humid environment, like a full cover sun neck gaiter I wear all day on long hikes, they can get fogged up if it's cool as well. It's just annoying enough where I won't wear them with a balaclava. They fit great, the default pair. There's another flaw, the edge of the frame is pointy when they are folded up. It's more an annoyance than anything. For 6 bucks, just toss them in the recycle bin and grab another pair when they get scratched enough to annoy you. I buy 4 pairs at a time and just keep them at home.

Simple Work Glasses
These are nice safety glasses with an added bit of shade to them. I like to use them on location because they give my eyes the sun protection they are needing, but not so shaded that they darken what I'm working on. They are pretty breathable so not so much fogging. I try to keep my face out of the action, but that is not always possible. With that being said, they are not scratch proof, but they do pretty good for the cost. I would recommend these to anyone looking for some safety glasses that are not going to break the bank and looking for decent quality.

I will now have 4 pairs I liked them so much.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked these because I wanted a tint without them being too dark. I also wanted to trust the brand and the positive reviews. The price was good too so I bought 2 pair. I ended up liking them so much I just kept them on my head or hat all the time that I wore them more than sunglasses to drive or run errands. That’s what I needed. Something that wouldn’t fall off my head that I’d actually wear when cutting wood, granite, metal, or out feeding farm animals or in the garden. I liked them so much I ordered 2 more pair of the clear version that is arriving today. Comfort, size, and quality are the biggest factors for me. Of course they can’t look goofy either. As far as fogging… that will be put to the test today when I need my 3M cartridge respirator to grind back corners of granite to fit up butcher block.

Great Shades
Nice sunglasses for a cheap price, I have 2 pair and don't worry about loseing one. They do scratch so be aware of that. Nice lens color and good sun protection.

They do the job they claim.
Very nice safety glasses. I haven't worn any kind of sunglasses in a long time, as my eyes started getting sensative to sunlight, so i stopped wearing them all together. I do pest control now so i MUST wear safety glasses. These DO resist fogging when it's cold outside. My skin tends to be high and fogs up everything i wear. These didn't fog up at all. Except where my eyebrows get really close to the lens, but that happens with any glasses i wear. I guess the shape of my face causes that. I have recommended these glasses to all the techs at my company and MANY are using them now. They work, they feel great and they're cheap. Dropping these, scratching them and just with every day use, it's nice to have a cheap solution to something that's required for work. Because the brand they give us are even cheaper and they fog really quick.

Look Good BUT...
Theses Carhart safety glasses are nice looking on but being a Carhart product I expected much better quality. It is stated that they are "scratch resistant" but I found that to be untrue from the first time they were worn. They actually scratch very easily with normal usage. They were adequate for sun shielding, unfortunately I'm unable to wear anymore because of the lenses scratching up so quickly. I will go back to the safety glasses I used prior that are truly scratch resistant and only cost 2 dollars and change.

Almost indestructible except for solvent mist
Can't hardly break them or scratch them easily but one tiny mist of carb or brake cleaner and they're done. Unless you don't mind looking through foggy, spotty lenses. Still 5 stars for $5 glasses but avoid the chemicals.

FIT GREAT
MY WIFE ORDERED THESE FOR ME. GREAT SAFETY GLASSES FOR WORKING OUTSIDE. NOT TOO DARK..PERFECT. CSA APPROVED. I WEAR THEM FOR DRIVING ALSO. THEY ARE SUPER COMFORTABLE, AND LOOK GREAT, (SHE SAID SO) I JUST GOT THEM, SO I CAN'T SAY IF THEY SCRATCH EASILY OR NOT, BUT IT WAS SUPER HUMID IN ONTARIO TODAY AND THEY DIDN'T FOG UP. I'M IMPRESSED AND WILL DEF BUY THESE AGAIN.
