So many bad reviews for such a good product. I found this product when watching TikTok and when I did exactly as they did, it worked perfectly the very first time and stayed in all day.You will need to buy some small elastic hair ties like these (smaller size if you have thin hair): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JYFKR1G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Divide the hair where you want the pony. Take a small section (pencil width or smaller) and tie the elastic hair tie. Cinch the tie so it's closer to your head. Then simply clip the Pony Popper on so the teeth sit between your scalp and the elastic hair tie. Then create your pony as usual. WA-LA!

After having this for some time and being unsuccessful at making this work for me after many numerous attempts I have finally decided to write a review. I have watched the videos and it seems to me they snap this in to secure it. Mine has no snap and it is difficult to make it work when it keeps opening. I don't know if mine came defective as there were no noticeable broken pieces upon my opening the package. If indeed it does not snap then I am not sure how it is supposed to work for those of us with fine hair as it continues to come out as I try to gather my hair around it. Regardless, this has been yet another product that has sat on a shelf in my closet from sometime until, once again, today I made the effort to use it. Again I watched the "easy" videos and again, i could not get it to work as shown. Today I will just pitch it as I see no sense in continuing to hold on to it. Perhaps there is another solution for those of us who are not blessed with the thick hair being shown in the videos. There is one plus, it was not expensive so I did not lose much by purchasing it and giving it a try.

If this thing was only an inch in diameter instead of one and a half inches, it’d be a Godsend for women with fine hair. But it creates this huge pony tail base and I only have a thin sprout of hair coming out of it lol. If you have thicker hair, great product. If your hair is fine, you’re going to hate it.

I use this under my bun to keep it looking a bit fuller. Ordered a second one.

Have purchased twice bc I loved so much but lost my first (only complaint was it’s a little too big too look realistic. I wish they came in sizes). Second one broke while putting the ponytail on and was very upset. I initially purchased for ~$10 and now the price has gone up and quality appeared to go down. Will now be purchasing a similar product from a different brand.
