Converted a Slash 4x4 to a Monster Slash.. Excellent set of shocks for the price. Massive improvement over stock. Very happy.

First impressions, good looking product.Realized quickly the springs are way to stiff making the truck prone to rolling over. After a couple small jumps 2 shocks started leaking oil. After a refill and a few more minutes of run time. shaft bent on the front left during a high speed tumble. Not happy with the durability of the product. Switches back to stock shocks with the addition of aluminum caps. No more problems.. waste of money

They get the job done (kinda) but they're cheaply built. I broke the bottom rod end on my first run, I've since replaced a total of 6 rod ends plus one shaft in about one months time. Also they leak oil like a sieve. Good example of "you get what you pay for".

Cheap and have a 2 piece top mount style. Its aluminum, but where it mounts to the chassis it is plastic which broke after 5 minutes of use on a small jump at a track. Save up $20 more for the traxxas big bore shocks.
