Pelican 1040 Micro Case (Solid Red)

Bought this for my external hard drive, more just to remind me how important the stuff on it is. I love it though, and the solid red was a nice alternative to the solid yellow, which I could not find online, and for some reason I could not bear the thought of there being a clear lid. Maybe because the clear lids bear resemblance to cheap toolbox-type containers. Anyway, I love it. High quality North American things always make me happy.

Bought this to store my portable audio devices (dac/amp, iem's, cable, spare tips, etc.). Very well made with nice soft rubber foam lining the bottom and lid of the case to help keep things inside from banging around. I got mine in red and really love the colour. Works great for smaller items and it's just as well built and sturdy as the larger Pelican cases which I have seen used for transporting very expensive electronic analyzing equipment and medical devices. Again, it's very well built and allows me piece of mind knowing that my electronics will be protected.

took on a vacation along side a ssd to usb c plug.was able to load up all photos into 3 ssd's stored inside this case, also held spare 6 sd cards.had no worry as ssd's are sturdy enough, but this is used as insurance when in a small Asian boat.

You get what you pay for. These may be pricey but they are worth every penny.Used for my electric mountain board ESC. Keeps it protected and perfectly dry.
