Is the tread 3/8 x 24

It has a 3/8" insert that reduces to a smaller thread into the actual antenna.

Can this go thru the car wash?

Just got this today. Instructions say "Caution: It is very important to remove the antenna before going thru a car wash!" so use in car wash at your own risk, I guess. The reason I go his is because my original broke off in a car wash

Would this fit on a older ‘88 Bronco?

I’m not sure about the bronco. I installed it on a 2018 F150 and it fit just fine

Extremely easy to install even for non car experts. It is good quality and gets great reception. It is much less of an eye sore than the original antenna on the 2025 F150s. Definitely recommend and for the price it can’t be beat
