Nice book with only minor annoyances
Nice book. Good pictures and selection of words. My 2, nearly 3 year old does well with it and kids can learn language so early, so I'd ignore the 8 plus age on the product on amazon. It even says all ages on the book itself. The flaps that reveal the English version of the word don't fully fold down, so will get bent back over time, especially with younger children who are less careful.Beware that it's produces by a US company and some Spanish words are different in different parts of Spain, Mexico and South America. I think some of the words aren't Castellano (the dialect that originates from Spain/Madrid). It doesn't really effect anything, just slightly confusing for kids sometimes when they're taught a different word in school.

Some words are not right
I bought this for my husband to read to our infant daughter so that he might learn Spanish too. I was really sad when I started hearing him reading the occasional incorrect translation. I read the book to her myself and noticed there's even one on the cover, as in the photo (Car is Coche, Carro is a horse drawn cart in Spanish. It is however, Portuguese for car). I feel like this is really quite unforgivable. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't speak Spanish myself.

Great little buy, but note American spellings
We have the English version of this book, so when we spotted this we thought it would be an excellent way to continue development of both English and Spanish. The book is set out in different ways, with some English words being under flaps and others set directly under the Spanish words. There is a nice section which is all about me doteaches body parts as well, this is not in the English only book. The only downside is the American spelling color instead of the UK colour.

Good for your child but,
If you trying to make your child to get used to see spanish words, I think it's phenomenal; however, if you are a teacher I wouldn't recommend this book.

Great book, Poor design
Once the flaps have been opened 3-4 times they look like this as the pages don’t turn over properly and they bend - especially when a 1 year old is ‘reading’ the book by themselves. If the flaps opened the other way this wouldn’t be an issue.
