Book review
‘New name. New family. Shiny. New. Me.’Good Me, Bad Me is one amazing debut novel!!! Annie’s mother is a serial killer. This book explores her life in foster care after she hands her mother to the police and how she deals with her internal conflict as to what extent she was like her mother.Annie is an unreliable narrator and her journey as she struggles between her good and bad side makes this book all the more interesting and intense. Although I found the ending predictable, I couldn’t put this book down till the very end. Also, I absolutely love this cover!!!!If you are looking for a psychological thriller, then this book wouldn’t disappoint you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75/5 stars (or round it off to 4)

Top3 psychological thriller
One of the best psychological thrillers I've read and definitely in my top3. The story catches you wherever you are and you can't get rid of it.It's deep and takes you to the profound self whos always wondering and fighting against their inner instincts. If you haven't read it do it now ! I read it in two days during my final exams and couldn't put it down. I wish I could forget it to discover it again.

Creepy to the Max!
3.5 Stars.* (rounded up)Creepy to the Max.Milly is not just your ordinary foster girl. She wants to be of course, but it’s just not possible you see - her mother is a killer. And not just any killer, she is the Peter Pan Serial Killer. And Milly turned her in. Now Milly is going to have to testify against her own mother in order to put her away for good. All Milly wanted was to fit in somewhere but soon she realizes that foster care isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. The idyllic hopes she had for the “perfect” family are anything but. Her new foster sister Phoebe despises her and calls her “dog face” and is intent on making Milly’s life miserable. Milly’s foster dad Mike is also a psychologist and he’s been helping her cope with her ordeal. Yet Milly feels extremely guilty and is frightened. Frightened of letting anyone know her thoughts or know what actually happened during her time with her mother.“Good Me Bad Me” was a creepy and captivating character study of Milly, in addition to being a psychological thriller. Though it was obvious to me how it would end - almost from the start, I found the novel entertaining and was glued to it from the beginning. The character of Milly was fascinating and I couldn’t help but be completely riveted by her. This is a novel that I enjoyed but can’t quite say that I loved. Perhaps because I found it somewhat predictable, perhaps because it just missing a little something, I’m not quite sure. On the whole, I think “Good Me Bad Me” is an impressive debut by Ali Land and I look forward to see what comes out with next.Published on Goodreads, Amazon, Twitter and Instagram on 12.12.17.
