Really good read loved the stories

K.G. was my grandfather's favorite poet. My dad gave me his worn copy of The Prophet, pocket sized with a black hardcover. My dad said my grandfather would constantly pull it out and quote from it, marveling as if it was his first time reading the words. I love this version because it is much larger and contains all the original illustrations. Quality paper and printing. The cover is awesome. It's soft and durable. It has quotes from the book embossed all over the cover. I appreciate the quality and inticracy. A beauty.

Purchased this for my girlfriend who already has "The Prophet" but not this collection or the beautiful textured cover. The only knock was the cover on the inner side was separating. A little paper glue fixed it right up but it shouldn't come to that if they used better glue. Oh well, still a good purchase and would highly recommend... just have some glue ready.
