Second one I purchased
I used up the first one in approximately 11/2 years. Not a lot of medical issues but I wrote each physical therapy session on a new page and added notes. I also wrote dental, eye exams, yearly exams… basically everything. I feel good about that… being thorough and keeping track of all exams and dates. Excellent way to stay organized. I love it.

Great tool for older people
I bought this for my elderly mother to take with her to her doctor appointments to write what they talked about and any medication changes as well as follow up appointments, referrals to specialists and therapy. It helps my sisters and I know what is going on with her health and have her medical history in one easy place. She loves it because she does have to try to remember everything the doctor said. She went online and bought one for her best friend!

This is not a journal
There are extensive sections to keep track of doctors, known health issues, test results, and especially office visits, but there isn't one page to keep track of day-to-day symptoms.I bought this to track my day-to-day symptoms, to see what might worsen or relieve my symptoms. I can't use this for that. Maybe this will help clear up whether this book will fit your needs.

Good size to carry with you.
This journal turned out to be a great log for keeping up with medical history and appointments. It has sections to record all doctors with their contact and specialty info. It has pages to record lab work, doctor visits, medications and more. At the back is pages for notes too! This is a great resource to remember what you have done and when it was done. Also to remember those doctor addresses and phone numbers. Will carry this to all appointments!

A great way to keep track of doctor's visits!
I love this book because it got me finally to sit down and record everything I've done medically, from booster shots to mammograms, with dates. My husband looked at my entries and thanked me, and said he'd like a copy of the journal for himself. I put it to the real test yesterday when I came home from a visit with an orthopedic surgeon. His counsel to me was, "Call me when you're in pain. For now, don't worry." Those words went in, and I closed the cover. If there's any quibble, it's that there's no place to record your blood type (though there are plenty of places to note it). I look forward to using this journal again and again.

Just what we need for our aging parents
Needing something to keep in touch with my parents they didn’t like them but if someone needs to know what is going on with an elderly as far as meds and appts it’s nice to have for family members

Not what I expected.
When I finally sat down to write info in this book, I discovered that pages 50 through 133 of the 140 pages are for "Medical Visits and Treatment." So over half of the book is designated for writing down each individual doctor visit and results. (If you're really detail oriented and don't know how to use your doctor's internet portal, that could be useful, I suppose, but it makes for an unnecessarily heavy, bulky book, in my opinion). Other sections for medications, family medical history, doctor and family contacts are fine. The unneeded pages are not removable except by tearing them out.
