so here are a few things.1) size chart is wrong. I should have figured something was wrong with the measurements for a M was what i needed to order for my 13 pound shih tzu. Looking at the pictures of the other reviews, someone had a begal and ordered a small.2) the material is trash. my item looks slightly different then the item in the picture of the product and the pictures from other reviews. I am not sure if someone stole those reviews from another listing as this product is listed a few times on amazon (this being the cheapest)3) even though the product was too big, the little cowboy should still sit up right, and it doesnt, so even getting a smaller one, will not change this.i was very disappointed with this because i was looking forward to having this for halloween. guess im going to be looking for a different costume for my dog.

Totally worth it! The design and weight of it are perfect so the cowboy really bucks around and waves his hat. Everyone that sees it loves it and laughs. It came in a nice resealable package too, so when I store it it won’t get dusty. My only complaint is that it does run small- my dog should have had plenty of room with the M but the straps just barely do up around her midsection. I will sew Velcro extensions so not a big deal.

Good quality, fast shipping and just super hilarious to watch. This is a size small on my little dog.

This costume is decent quality and worked great on my 8 month old Border Collie pup, approximately 40lbs. I got it for my adult Border Collie originally, who is around 50lbs. His measurements seemed okay for the medium but it was too small. I would say medium runs a touch on the small side.

we bought the large size for our dog, two problems with the costume are it's more of a medium and the velcro is hard to make it hold because of the way they sewed it on, it sticks to the fabric more then the loop side of the velcro, needed a stiffener sewn in, which we had done when we made the straps longer so it would fir our dog...Now it is fine, other than that it's OK, should have bought the Lions Mane instead...
