GiviBF11 Tanklock Tank Ring

Like other reviewer's I was perhaps being bit nieve, in expecting the complete fitting to attach a tank bag. All you get is a half moon piece of metal with four holes in it! But, having said that it fits perfectly on my bike. I ordered the actual tank bag online from another website and, it came complete with the plastic 'clamp ring'. So no problems there. I suppose the only downside is that you are paying what seems a relatively lot of the money for a stampede out bit of metal, that probably cost about 50p. Ah well, we live and learn. 😞. Just one more thing, if I was still working, I could have knocked one of these up in half an hour!

Although it is not listed anywhere - this fitting DOES fit a BMW R1100RS 1993. But note, I discovered that this item is just the metal fitting and tank bolts - and does not include the plastic Tanklock Flange that the bag attached to - this I had to order separately. The service form this supplier was good and I am now able to use my Givi tank bag on both of my bikes.

Had the mounting ring but was missing the the actual tank bag locking ring. Very very poorThe description and the picture of the item show, the plastic ring for locating the tank bag too. This is NOT included in the item, just a piece of metal in a horse shoe shape and 4 screws. You need to spend an ADDITIONAL £20 on the plastic ring as well.

Fitted perfectly on 2017 Ducati Multistrada 1200S, was easy to install and the guide provided was really helpful.

£12 for a curved strip of metal with 4 holes, and some screws. Daylight robbery.
