I like the product and have been using it for a while. First time ordering it through Amazon. Most of them are not in a solid form and break melt quickly. If I didn't know the product before hands, I would think this is a very bad quality product.

I ordered a set of three. All three are the same consistency. The deodorant has hard chunks mixed in with the softer material. These hard chunks catch and pull hair out. They do not wipe on, they remain hard chunks on your skin and come off in your clothes, bed, etc. Is it possible this is a bad batch or is it supposed to be this consistency? The smell is ok although it has a chemical smell rather than citrus. Also, the deodorant breaks off the stick in chunks at a time as it is being applied. In appearance it looks like the deodorant wasn’t properly blended together. I can’t imagine this high of reviews if this is the normal consistency.

I’ve previously purchased several Schmidt's deodorants in store and decided the lime is my favorite so I bought a 3-pack. I think the product I received is expired or has been mishandled in some way that caused it to alter its consistency. The stick is curdled, lumpy, and the lumps are scratchy. I’ve tried holding it against my skin a bit longer to warm it up, but that doesn’t help. After 2 weeks of sucking it up and scratching my pits, I opened the other two to see if they are normal. They are not, all are defective.Can’t confirm if they are actually expired since they’s only some ambiguous code on the bottom. In any case I’ve had them for less than a month and they came that way.

I developed an allergy to regular deodorants several years ago but I can't go without it. I tried a number of deodorants and this one works. I wish they had a formula that allowed it to go on easier/smoother, but so far -- they have not. Some folks use a hair dryer to "soften" it up a bit but be careful. I sat it a bit of a distance in front of my space heater while taking a shower, and it was almost liquid when I got out of the shower about 5 minutes later. I am thinking of getting an appropriate container to melt the deodorant I can't get out, pouring it into the container, and using my fingers to put it on. It is relatively expensive -- but it works!

After doing some online research and testing a few different brands for effectiveness, I decided Schmidt deodorant was the right choice for me. I like all of their deodorants but the Bergamot & Lime is my favorite.
