It’s a very sturdy built tripod mount. Like the folding feature.The cold shoe feature is great. It would have been a rated5star if there was more space for the thumb screw to tighten any item you connect like a mic or a light. I connect a light and not able to fit it properly and I am afraid that it will slip out and fall. The shoe could have been extended out a little to accommodate the sliding shoe and the thumb screw. Also the clamps should have a slight curved surface to grab the phone properly.

Purchased the Ulanzi ST03 Metal Smart Phone Mount for $28.19 CAD on Oct 23 2022 and have used it for a couple of weeks now.Pros:- all metal construction- feels sturdy and holds phone snug.Cons:- cold shoe is too close to knob which adjusts phone holder so you have to remove cold shoe item to tighten or loosen knob.- no cold shoe on other end of holder which would be handy.Overall, if you are just using it to hold your phone it's a great item. if you have to use the cold shoe and remove your phone like me, it's a pain.

Solid all metal construction, nice finish, folds away neatly, really handy dovetail mount option built in.Cold shoe slot at the is also nice, though as others have mentioned the tightening thumb screw can definitely get in the way. In my opinion that is the only down side of this product.Far, far superior to the others I tried, especially the plastic one that allows you to rotate your phone which is super flimsy and unstable.For fellow gram counters:The Ulanzi ST-03 phone mount's actual weight is 78.2 grams or 2.76 ounces.

Bought this to use my phone on arca-swiss clamps of my manfrotto pixi and full size tripod. Serves it's purpose beautifully. I don;t have to buy a arca-swiss plate + phone clamp separately now.Construction is all metal and the screws and hinges are nicely damped. One good thing is once you expand the clamp to accomodate your phone, the top portion of the camp is tight and doesn't fall back if the phone is not there.Along with the arc-swiss mount, it has a thread at the base to attach in non-arca style tripod/monopods too. Very nice touch. Only thing is price could've been little less.Overall v nice product.

This fits all my tripods, perfect for when it’s more convenient to use your newest iPhone for night photography rather than schlepping around all that heavy Canon photography gear, in the middle of a city at night. It works great with my iPhone 11 Pro, and would certainly fit the Max model as well. It does what it’s supposed to, it holds your phone firmly onto the tripod, it is of steal construction and has some rubber feet/edges to prevent slipping. It doesn’t tilt or pan, that’s what the tripod is for ;-)
