I have used this product for many years following 2 foot surgeries that left remaining pain in my foot. They helped me a great deal EXCEPT that every time I order new ones they are made differently. My first reorder several years ago were made of different fabric. They slid off my feet if I tried to wear them with sandals. So, I wanted to try these but they are made differently AGAIN. This time the part that goes between the toes causes such pressure that I just ended up with NEW pain in a new place. Had to remove them and want to return them unless you can send me some that were made before this model. Makes me sad to say this because they had been the only item that offered me relief from pain.

It seemed to be the closest aid offered that would help my Morton's Neuroma - I wanted & expected was a thicker pad under the ball of my feet that tapers off to level. In trying this one, I found several problems: where the "harness" divides between the big toe & the second is very uncomfortable - it hurts & gets very red - maybe it's just too wide & not any softness to mediate? The gel (or whatever it is) is covered in something like nylon, rather than just gel tapered as I suggested, which might do the trick all by itself and not be so slippery. Even more important was the fact that I never expected it to be so super-tightly stretchy (what ever happened to mostly cotton?!). I ordered a medium, which size/length began at the number my foot measures at that point - 8+ inches. But it is way too tight! And it does not even cover/reach to what I would call the bottom of the ball of my foot - ie, towards the middle of my foot - it should taper off there, but it's too short. All I can try now, at great expense, is asking my foot doctor to make an actual orthotic (for that foot only) that incorporates the rise where I need - something to press up just in front of the transverse arch of my foot, to allow my "hammered" toes to fly free - straight out & on the ground! Any suggestions welcome - I should probably return these asap, as they are not working.

So.... it does add comfort to the ball of my foot. However, it adds discomfort between my toes. So, i'm calling it a toss up. If you love flip flops and have never met a pair you didn't like, the don't bother you. If you are picky about flip flops, these will probably drive you nuts.

If you are going to wear a pair of shoes with this product, the relief only lasts for FEW MINUTES - then the pain is back because the pad starts to push up into the painful area because of the shoe - you almost would need to cut out any part underneath this pad sleeve in order for this product to be effective. Be aware of this before you purchase.

I tries several other pads and they were not large enough to cover the entire width of the ball of my foot. Others that were big enough had rougher edges and rubbed the space between my toes raw. I will be reordering!!!
