Say I want to skip hg and go to rg would I be lost when building this model?

This was my very first model, I skipped HG and went for RG from the start. I was not lost; instructions are very clear.

Do the instructions come in english?

Most of the text in in Japanese, but it is easy to tell what is needed from the photos. Almost as easy as ikea’s instructions.

The hands don't click into place and fall off no matter the amount of pressure applied. Advice?

Had this issue too, I solved it by just excluding the white part around the wristI later reassembled it at it clicked in just fine, so we probably put it in wrong......somehow

Which stand/base is recommended for this model?

I used the 1/144 Action base 2.
